Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaPaid WIFi and paying for parking already dedicated to the room number. Totally unnecessary when it can be included in the initial booking. Honestly such a hassle. It’s not the year 2000 anymore. WiFi is a necessity not a privilege. Especially when mobile signal is not the greatest.

South AfricaThe apartment had a “tired” feeling about it. The curtains were old and stained. The couch cushions sagged and the chair covers looked like it needed to be replaced. Both the pools were green and not suitable for swimming. Refundable breakage fee of R1000.00 had to be paid through a link that you only receive at Reception. Cellphone reception was at one bar and it took me about 20 minutes to finally get the transaction through. One could not use their WiFi to make this online transaction easier as you had to pay for that through the same link. No card machines available. The receptionist suggested that a cash payment might be easier but, if you depart at a time of the day when Reception is not open, you will not receive your cash back. I found this method very tedious and not effective and I was not the only guest who had this issue.
The location is beautiful and I needed to be close to Lagoon Beach Hotel for an event. The towels were white and clean. The bed was comfortable.

South AfricaOnly problem is the fact that we got keys to everywhere except to get out by security... Also tried to access the accommodation from the beach but got turned down by security because we did not have that tag as mentioned above. That was a disappointment.. To fight with the guards to get to your accommodation sucks more attention is needed there. Would be nice if the restaurant below was open at times, maybe look at keeping it open and have a small shop... It will bring quite afew customers... The main door to the suite was outdated and needed to be changed as you can't lock from the inside.
We really enjoyed the views and the friendly staff the place was very clean and it was great.

South AfricaAccording to Booking.com I had to pay R500 refundable deposit. Upon arrival it was R1000. The link they sent to make payment was not working. After alot of struggles we managed, as this was their preferred method to refund you within 2-3 working days. Using the card facilities can take up to 14 days. Its a week later and still no refund.

South AfricaIn the year 2024 paying R65 per day for wifi is a ripoff and just plain weird. There are many uncapped wifi packages on the market these days at affordable prices so I find it very hard to justify charging R65 per day for wifi access. It could easily be worked into the accommodation fee, so I feel like this is just a way to make a quick and easy buck from guests. This is the first accommodation I have come across practising this - it's provided as a basic amenity/facility at all other accommodations. If the location was a remote area, I could understand the charge, but the location is in a metropolitan area. The shower could do with a bit of an upgrade - old and rusty and the shower floor doesn't look appealing.
The reception staff I encountered upon check-in and check-out were fantastic. Very friendly, respectful and helpful. No miserable faces, only happy faces and genuine smiles. Location is great, right on the beach, close to shopping centre and fast food/restaurants. Nice TV - Netflix, Showmax, YouTube etc compatible

NetherlandsThe lady at the reception was correct but not overly enthausiastic, she gave us the keys and showed us the room but that was about it. The apartment was fine but the general feel was that it was a bit dated and the kitchen was not overly equiped.. The second day we could not get out of the room, the lock was broken !?, luckily we could still leave at beachside and inform the reception and it was fixed during the day ! l the keys for the new lock were left at the gate so we could pick them up on return. It was a bit annoying that we did not have a working transmitter for the boom to enter the terrain, we had to wait for the guard to open for us every time :-(
The view at the Table mountain and the fact we could walk out of our room straight onto the beach ! The apartments are conveniently close to town center.
