It would have been nice to have some variety in the morning pre-game drive and sunrise snack.

The breakfast by the river on the last day was a nice bonus. We saw giraffes across the river! The tracker was fantastic and the food was very good. The tents were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to be in an area that wasn't busy. We only saw a few other jeeps during our stay.

Out of all our stays through our South Africa trip, this was the best experience of them all! The staff was exceptional. We had the best time on our morning and afternoon game drives. Having breakfast near the river where Hippos were sleeping, or snacks at a waterhole with a huge elephant family. We made the best memories. As an addition they took fantastic care of us, gluten-free meals were no problem at all.

    Special stay at Bundox

We found the ranger a little annoying as he really followed his own agenda during the game drives, instead of listening to us and to find out what we were looking for. The female 'spotter' was not very friendly and this combination of both marred our game drive experience. Also the drive back to the airport in an open vehicle at 80/100km an hour was not a pleasant experience and once again showed the disconnect the female spotter/driver had with us (guests). Don't expect pressure showers in your tent!

Bundox is a special place. We were picked up from the airport and as it was our first time in Kruger, didn't know what to expect. The drive took us to the 'camp' which consists of 4 tents plus facilities for the team that live on site and common areas like the kitchen/dining area and pool/lounge area. Just after our arrival we spotted an elephant that came drinking from the water hole just in front of the lounge area which was a great first encounter with the wildlife in the camp. We stayed 3 nights and did the 2 safari's each day. At 4 hours each a lot of time is spent in the jeep looking for wildlife but it was definitely worth it as we were able to tick off 4 of the big 5. The female chef is excellent and the manager of the camp extremely accommodating and friendly and we had an amazing time there and can highly recommend Bundox. The camp fire evening and surprise breakfast at elephant river were nice touches.

Beautiful location, wonderful facilities and caring, dedicated staff. Ellie cooked vegetarian food especially for us and blew us away with the delicious flavours. Emmanuel takes dedicated care of every need and is a great personality to have around, Oliver and Marits worked hard to make sure we had an incredible game-viewing experience. Loved the pool and relaxing areas especially!

Tents were a little too close together for privacy. Otherwise great.

Nothing. Though, you need to know where it is your going. it is "glamping" meaning, fancy as possible but still a tent. the shower was the only not perfect thing since it has to be refiled by the staff every time and the stream was low but for us it was part of the experience. we had an amazing night

the staff was AMAZING. it felt like a dream. the place is beautiful and calm, the food was great and the atmosphere as well. Drinks were included, both by the pool and at the game drive. the game drive crew was outstanding - professionals. they stopped for trails and animals poop.

The shower could use some improvement.

The staff was amazing, Wesley the game driver was very knowledgeable, very nice guy. There are only 4 tents so max 8 people, makes for a very relaxed holiday. Food was amazing

Just the drive from Johannesburg, the road has lots of potholes

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location, food was great and the fact that you get two safaris is awesome. We also had breakfast by the river and it was great

Food could be better. You can improve your options for vegans. shower was not comfortable. And pick up and drop off to the airport wasn’t included to the price and was expensive.

Friendly staff, good view, not busy.

Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful stay! Perfect combination of luxury and relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious, best we had in SouthAfrica. JD and Maurits were great guides who did their work with humour and could tell us a lot about the area and animals. we were sad to leave after two nights, would loved to have stayed longer!

    - the game drive vehicles were not fitted with radios and so if any other cars in the park spotted animals we were unable to contact anyone or receive any updates, this made it extremely hard for our rangers to find the big 5. - Bundox is located in a private reserve, and they are not allowed to travel outside of their reserve, but animals are allowed to. There is only 1 pride of lions in this park and the entire time we stayed there they were in another reserve so we didn’t get to see lions. - Out of the big 5 we only saw 2 animals! (The elephants we saw everyday, and we saw 1 rhino, we did spot a leopard but it was night time and it was very very far away) a lot of other vehicles in our area did see the big 5 because they were able to talk to each other on the radios. So this was very disappointing. - the beers and other beveridges at the small bar were never very cold either, I got used to drink room temperature beer by the end of it, as they kept turning the fridge off to save power.

    - 2 game drives per day included - all food included was good - the pool area was great, we got to see elephants 10m in front of us at the waterhole 2/3 days we stayed there. - tour guides were great
