The room could use a super deep clean, such as the venetian blinds, under the beds and the grouting in the bathroom. It was okay for us to stay for two nights. We were having issues with the wifi, it was on and off and was super slow the whole time. We were out at wine tasting and a wedding so we didn't stay in the room other than to sleep.

The location was perfect, the room had two beds which suited my sister and I well The bathroom was big. There is adequate kitchen facilities even though we didn't use them. The village /complex where the apartment was situated is super convenient and very quite. Overall very nice and would book again.

Well-equipped, excellent location close to the heart of Franschhoek, obliging host, huge comfortable king-size bed, fabulous shower, everything you could possibly want including a hair dryer, small fridge with ice trays, large antique cupboard and free parking - a real bonus in Franschhoek.

The room was on the ground floor which I had not realised. This would have been fine but there were no burglar bars and in particular, the front door had no security gate which made my friend and I (two girls) anxious about safety. Although the area seemed fine, the host could do more from a safety point of view. I imagine the entrance gate is probably manned at night by security guards, but the host should let guests know if this is the case to allay any fears.

The location was excellent for the wine tram and the host kindly agreed for us to park our car at the property in the morning before checking in. Luckily, when we arrived early/min-morning, the cleaner was still in the room. She was very friendly and she gave us the keys and showed us which parking we could use as this was not clear. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

The whole apartment badly needs an upgrade, terrible sofa and high stools. No sauspans, one ! spoon (soup), no dessert spoons whatsoever.

The apartment is spacious, quiet and well located. Very comfortable bed and great water pressure to the shower. Apartment was also cool even when outside temps hit 38o.

Access: It appear that the apartment's address comprises four units, with the apartment on the far left, which I initially missed despite our hostess having sent me a picture of the front door. So, use the far left of the four parking bays, with the apartment to the left of that. Kitchenette: Not really suitable for self-catering. But with all the restaurants in and around Franschhoek one we didn't mind. It had the basic crockery, cutlery, and equipment to see us through. Also no hot water tap in the sink, so boiling water in the kettle or fetching hot water from the bathroom way to go to do dishes. Shower: Open shower makes floor VERY messy and slippery. Just a side panel would be a great improvement.

Excellent location for exploring Franschhoek on foot - and getting back to after a wine tram excursion :-). Apartment was clean and surprisingly spacious. Huge bed with great mattress and good linen & towels.

The property is located in a quiet area of Franschoek and easy to find. The place is so much bigger than we expected and so clean. It's great for a quick stay over.

The bathroom was clean and spacious, but could use a shower screen. when you shower with the top shower, it makes the bathroomfloor wet. otherwise just use the handheld which also has a fitting.

The kitchen area is not set up for easy cleaning after yourself. If you opt to eat out all the time you will be 100% There is a foul smell coming from the bathroom.

Location was perfect! If you are in Franschhoek for a day or two this is definitely the place to stay at. Literally around the corner from the wine tram. Walking distance to the main street and restaurants. Big and lots of space!
