Absolutely amazing atmosphere

Everything was perfect

The bed was clean, comfortable, however, no headboard - didn't like that. The gas heater made the room wonderfully warm.

There were quite a few inconveniences in the room. The wooden front door of the room didn’t lock, and the beds lacked headboards. The kitchenette is impractically placed inside a cupboard, making it unsuitable for a kettle and steam. The microwave was unstable, and there were no nearby electrical outlets by the table to charge my laptop, where I wanted to work, so I ended up working from the bed. No TV in the room didn’t bother me as I had work to do. The bathroom didn’t have a hook for the towel, so I had to place it on the toilet. The basin and bathroom cupboard were too small for my toiletries, so I had to store my bag on the windowsill. A locked door in the corner leads to the main house, and I could hear the voices of the owners. I heard footsteps on the wooden floor from above, suggesting the subject room was below the owner’s bedroom. Outside, loud frogs added to the noise.

It is very beautiful and it really feels like a tuscan farm. The hostess is very friendly and we had a beautiful view.

My stay at Fields of Gold Farm was very short, but really pleasant. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very well appointed. I could not have asked for more. Big thank you to Sandi for going above and beyond to make sure I arrived safely and comfortably after hours (in the dark). I will definitely be back.

The beds were comfortable, air conditioner was necessary and effective and there was a great cupboard which was filled with everything one could need for making morning tea or coffee and preparing snacks. Dirty crockery and cutlery were taken away for washing. A very nice Continental breakfast was brought to our room every morning.

It isn't very easy to access the room without going up and down stairs although it was supposed to be wheelchair friendly. The farm road is very bumpy. We got a bit lost trying to find the place and Booking.com should have given us a phone number to call for directions.

No room service. This means ,there are coffee cups and plates,however once used there is no washing facilities . A small kitchenette would make a difference. No milk in fridge,

Sandi, our host was amazing. Very helpful and always willing to make herself available. The pool, the view, the spacious room and the garden was wonderful. If you are into a quiet and relaxed setting, this is definitely the place to stay.

The room suited our purpose for our three night stay, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had good hot water. Basic continental breakfast served in your room.

Pity there was no TV or fridge. It was a bit awkward working out of a confined space (cupboard) for making tea or coffee, boiling the kettle etc.

Value for money and excellent hostess and the breakfast was top notch.
