This is a great place to stay when you need to escape from the rush of day to day life. The lodge is well equipped and very spacious with bonus features such as a bar with an ice machine, plenty of fridge space and extra wood available which really helps when you are in a remote location. The hosts are also very responsive to any requests during your stay which goes a long way to help you relax

THE PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, THE HOST WAS AMAZING BOTH HUSBAND AND WIFE. ON OUR WAY TO THE LOCATION JAMELY KEPT CHECKING IN ON US TO MAKE SURE WE OKAY WE DROVE IN FROM CAPE TOWN. THE PLACE WAS BREATHE TAKING. THE ROOM HAS A LOVELY AIR CON WHICH WAS SO NICE ESPECIALLY ON THE HOT DAYS. WE MADE A QUICK TRIP TO HEROLD WINE FARM WHICH WERE RECOMMENDED BY THE HOST, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT. ALL AND ALL 10000/10 FOR THIS PLACE.

Amazing luxury house , build in the middle of beautiful landscape. Everything you need is there, lots of areas to sit and enjoy the moment, bar 🍸 area included, barbecue and hot tub. Absolutely incredible setting! No TV and no WiFi, which is good ! Pure detox and relaxation! The place is much better than the actual pictures on Booking.com.

Endless views, and superb accommodation. Well designed, neat and exceptionally clean cottage. Lovely walks, and the most relaxing holiday. Our host, Jamesly was very friendly, and if we need anything he was there within minutes, even if it was only a box of matches we requested. The weekend was beyond our expectations, the location is superb, the views are endless, peaceful and tranquil, it will hard to find anywhere else.

A lovely, quiet spot if you're looking to switch off and rest. I appreciated the generosity of our hosts with extra touches like homemade rusks, popcorn and a glass of sherry. It all made our stay extra special :) The view is stunning too!

Breathe Accommodation is the perfect stay if you’re looking for a solitary getaway. The cabin was clean and well equipped for two people. My partner and I had a lovely time walking on the farm, seeing the lambs, bird watching and making cosy fires inside and outside. The owners are lovely and make you feel very at home. It’s about an hour from Oudtshoorn, so perfect for a day trip to the Cango Caves or just into town.

Outstanding stay at Breathe! A beautiful location with a perfectly simple and comfortable home. Waking up to the birds and the shepard calling the sheep to pasture. Warm days spent exploring the farm, the river or enjoying the sun and a good book. Cold evenings in front of the fire or spotting satellites and shooting stars from the luxury of the hot tub. It is the perfect place to unwind and has everything you need to reset. George and Oudtshoorn are both approx. 50km away in either direction - a nice day out to restock food or visit some wine farms (recommend Herold Wines), do some sightseeing or even visit the beach at Herold's Bay. Lisa and Henri are wonderful hosts that will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Would encourage everyone to take some time out at Breathe!
