Fantastic sea views and we were thrilled to be able to see the penguins on the beach with our binoculars, right from our balcony. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. A stones throw from the seafront and Boulders.

Exceptional :-) Heather allowed us to drop our luggage off early allowing us another full day in this spectacular location. Being 'local' to the penguins, and being able to do early morning and evening walks along the boardwalk was a magical experience. The honeymoon suite was everything we hoped - well equipped, spacious, comfortable, but the balcony with penguin views and full length windows allowing uninterrupted side to side views topped our stay off. Heather also recommended a local guide (Anna-Marie) who we pre-booked and then spent an incredible day with on a custom guided tour around the cape and beyond. A truly magical stay. Nothing to dislike, great position to see the penguins which was why we were in Simon's Town, but the Baboons wander the town on an evening great fun. Beautiful apartment with the most amazing view across the bay, a way out of town so we had to drive in but found a shopping area a short way out of town, stocked up and spent most evenings on the balcony just admiring the views. We were minutes from the boardwalk and there are more penguins there than the viewing area with the droves of tourists. An easy drive down to the cape of good hope where you can see Ostriches.

This is a beatiful place and the views are wonderful. The little kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much, and who knows, maybe we will stay here again.

Excellent location to view and visit the Pinguins as well as closeby Simon’s Town . Great hideaway and the rooms are perfectly equipped and maintained . Plus the balcony with Ocean view is among the best . Very quiet location to relax and enjoy the scenery at Boulder.

Just a short walk from Boulders Beach this beautifully appointed guest house, with its own parking, was an absolute haven. With magnificent views of the coast, and of course the penguins it was the perfect place to relax. Towels were provided for the beach/pool which was helpful. Communication was great including help finding great people to organise snorkelling trips. The room had all you needed to cook meals and there was a Braii (BBQ) on the deck too, although we used their recommended local driver Shepherd, who was wonderful, to take us the very short drive into Simon’s Town for the harbour side restaurants in the evenings.

The bathroom door is a bit frustrating because it can’t open completely and the shower floor was very slippery.

Unfortunately it was extremely windy while we were there and due to the location/ glass etc it was hard to sleep with the noise. Obviously this is not something that the owner has any control over!

The property was bright and furnished to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfy. Towels soft and fluffy. Good standard of cleanliness and everything well maintained. Heather had left water, milk, tea and coffee as well as delicious flapjacks! Location handy to boulders beach and Simonstown. Ubers and local taxis efficient. Plenty of info on local restaurants and places of interest etc

Dinky fridge was a challenge - a 2nd drinks fridge or bigger single fridge would be great. The sea view from our unit was disappointing relative to the views from the next storey!

Warm welcome, lovely hostess and staff, safe parking and easy access. Room was comfy and kitted for 'subsistence catering' rather than full self-cater. Super clean and well kept.

We loved everything. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautiful and well equipped. The ocean view is breathtaking and you can see the Boulders Beach and the penguins. It felt like magical realism... Simon's Town was the best choice - you have many nice restaurants and cafés, small shops and Cape Town is a half an hour drive. We can not wait to return to Penguins View Guesthouse!

The location is superb overlooking Boulders Beach and you can see the penguins from the room. The bed is large and comfortable and the room had all the amenities that you could wish for. Highly recommended.

The neighbour's roof.

Easy to find and conveniently located with ample parking. The place was safe and secure which was important to us as we had theatre tickets in Cape Town every night and only tended to return around 11PM or Midnight. The building and gardens were neat, tidy and well-maintained. The room was clean and pretty. The bed was amazing. Overslept twice. Never wanted to actually get up. It's very quiet and that makes it easy to forget the hustle and bustle of life. The shower was amazing too. Great water pressure and ample space to move around. There was a seemingly clean pool but we never got around to trying its inviting waters. The views were genuinely stunning. Our room was cleaned once. Cleaning was offered on more than one occasion though, we just didn't need it. After being cleaned, valuables that were left lying around we still there and neatly placed. Correspondence with hosts/property owners was smooth and convenient. Replies generally instant or within a few minutes.

It was all great!

The apartment was spotlessly clean with great views and was within walking distance of both the beach and the penguin colony. It was very comfortable and I came and went as I pleased. So I’m giving it a 5 star review! I particularly enjoyed the fantastic sunrise over the bay!

Beautiful view, super friendly staff, great location! A few minutes from Boulder Beach which we appreciated and meant we got to see the penguins almost every day we were there! We loved our balcony with a sea view. It’s about a 20 minute walk from town but we enjoyed making the walk in every day to visit the restaurants etc.

A very beautiful place to be! We suddenly took ill on our trip to the Cape from France and rested up here for two days and three nights. Delightfully attentive hosts, wonderful accommodation with a breathtaking view over False Bay and the Penguin Reserve!

The hosts were lovely and very responsive. Great location and view, the room was lovely and comfortable and the shower was fantastic. There is a lovely little pool and honesty bar (we did not use the latter but a nice touch!). Could honestly not recommend enough! You can walk down to boulder and windmill Beach to enjoy the sea, sand and penguins!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. So happy we picked this place, it’s clean , tidy and a few minutes walk to boulders beach, it has spectacular views and a lovely little pool.. This was the perfect end to our holiday..

When we arrived the host John met us with the keys. He watched my partner really battle and STRUGGLE to carry her suitcase up the steep flight of stairs to the apartment .He was watching her without offering to assist. I was also carrying 2 of my bags so I could not assist her. It left a bad taste in our mouth.
