Each day we were served a different delicious home baked breakfast. We were introduced to some South African dishes - very tasty! The view from where we stayed was spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful.

The guesthouse is an ideal location for those seeking peace, relaxation, and is quite central. Maria was an impeccable host, who surprised us with delectable baking treats for breakfast. NB The guesthouse doesn't provide breakfast, but Maria offered this to us when she was available, and of course we couldn't resist. The views from our cottage were amazing, and at night we could star gaze to our heart's content. Maria thinks of every detail, and there was nothing lacking during our stay, and we'll definitely choose to stay with her again. Maria, you have our immense gratitude for making our stay extra special, and we appreciate all the knowledge you shared with us about the area. Wishing you everything of the best!!!

fridge was a a bit small with too little freezer space but the host was kind enough to keep our things in her freezer.

Maria was an excellent host. saw to all our needs and requests. the place was neat tidy and even had a lovely view of the ocean from the porch. There is a surprise breakfast that is extremely delicious.

We loved our stay in Maria guesthouse. Everything was very clean, and the place is very well decorated with a beautiful view to the sea and outdoors area. Private garage. Close to the center and beach. Maria is a lovely host and gave a warm welcome with homemade cake. And a free delicious breakfast every morning made with love. I recommend her place to anyone and would definitely go back.

Mostly the host. Maria is an angel. Absolutely spoiled us (without charging extra) with delicious breakfasts and the best cake I've had in a very long time. The view was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Perfect stay over.

Maria was such a great host! The room was well equipped, clean and nicely located a little up the hill. Even there was no breakfast option, Maria served home made jam, cheese and bread which was delicious. It’s a 10min walk to the beach and restaurants are close by. We stayed 2 nights, but would have loved to stay much longer :) It‘s also a good location to do the lovely Kingfisher Trail by canoe / hike (5min by car).

There is nothing we didn’t like

Comfortable beds, beautiful views, clean. But mainly we just loved our host Maria. She is the most beautiful kindhearted soul.

Nothing. The property is quite high up so the views over the bay are magnificent in daylight but I wouldn’t fancy walking home up the hill at night.

Maria is a lovely host. Very helpful and caring towards her guests Nothing was too much trouble. Little extra touches made us feel very welcome. There is full solar so no issues with load shedding.

The accommodation is very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need. The view of the sea is fantastic. The host Maria is incredibly nice and helpful. Our stay could not have been better.

Nothing all was wonderfull

Maria is a wonderfull host! She was very welcoming and gave us tips for sightseeing in the neighbourhood and lovely restuarants. The house is located on a hill with a beautifull view and a comfy bed! At breakfast (which was delicious!) we saw a wale in the sea as well as kolibries in the garden. The house is very close to the city centre. We will definately come back. Thank you Maria for everything! :-)

Maria is a generous spirited natural host and it was obvious that she made a lot of effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The view is outstanding and we loved the outdoor seating and plenty of birds. We found it to be a very convenient location- first N2 exit in Wilderness, with several restaurants, a good Spar, close to lagoon and also beach. Thank you so much Maria for all your kind care. We really loved our stay.
