Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaIt was a good thing my friend cancelled the trip because I booked two single beds but got a double bed instead. It took a long time for the water to warm up, which made me late for both my appointment and breakfast.
The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The place was very neat and clean. I will defiantly book with them again on my next trip, I felt very comfortable and safe. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

South AfricaThe management lied about a lot of things and the staff was not very helpful. Our rooms were not cleaned even though we asked that they be cleaned. We were moved to a room that was not swept, and they had cockroaches (both dead and alive) and the stench from them was unbearable for me considering im even pregnant. We also got a terrible stomach bug from the tap water, it would be helpfull to put up notices that the tap water is not safe for drinking

South Africacustomer service is very low. on my arrival i asked to put my goods in my room so i may come back to reception to settle my balance. i was denied access and i was told to pay first because they don't trust if i will just put my goods in the room and run away without paying. when i asked to talk to the owner or supervisor i was told that I'm not allowed or they don't give out owners numbers to guests. the experience was very bad because i trusted them with my 50% deposit while i was still at Johannesburg. i did not refuse to pay my balance , all that i asked was to put my bags and have my purse so i may go settle my balance. i ended up paying my due balance on Friday night after arriving. on Saturday morning after having breakfast, i left the accommodation to attend the event i came for in port Elizabeth. when i arrived back at about past 6 late, the reception lady followed me to my room and told me to settle my balance and i already paid the previous night. she said i did not pay of which it was not true. i paid them on my arrival after the argument of asking to put my bags in my room first. i had to show the reception lady the proof of payment that i swiped in her presence in the speed point machine given to me by her and my payment went through. after i showed her my proof of payment she said she is confused i felt harassed , treated as a thug, the customer service is ill, the stuff does not even greet the guests. after the reception lady claimed to be confused and demanded another payment from me, i asked again for the numbers of the owner so i may raise my dissatisfaction, the i was denied the numbers, i was told that the owner does not allow guests to have his numbers but rather give my number to receptionist to pass it to the owner so he may be the one calling me.
the breakfast was not good, were served with bread, dry bacon and the eggs that had fish smell. the kitchen team were not friendly at all, they do not greet the guests.

South AfricaThe kitchen sink taps were completely loose & kept falling into the sink. This shouldn't be left as it can fall onto dishes & break them. We were shocked at needing to pay extra for two additional people for an apartment catering for up to four people, we understood needing to pay for an additional fifth person. Even though we were shown this was explained in the selection of the apartment, it isn't a fair price in the end. Thus amounting to a ridiculous price for a family per night. Which we felt was not worth it, as other accommodations do charge per maximum occupancy. We understood the need to pay for any additional people exceeding the maximum amount. We will therefore unfortunately not recommend this accommodation for a family as it's far too pricey for a family of at least four. My elderly parents were in a room where there was a strong moldy smell & they needed over four people working there to believe them & first confirm this, only then were they moved to another room. My parents were put off. They should dust their fans & properly air, clean their rooms before hand as it's extremely problematic for people with allergy issues.
The location of the accommodation was good & peaceful. The pool was refreshing. The two bedroom apartment was sufficient for a family of five as they set up an extra bed.
