Lidwien and Frans are excellent hosts. The rooms are large and well furnished with a stylish en-suite. All spotlessly clean. The breakfast is incredible and, if you are staying on nights other than Sunday or Wednesday (Frans's nights off) so is the dinner (at extra cost). Unbelievable - it's like having a private Michelin chef. Highly recommended.

From greeting us at the gate when we arrived till saying goodbye: we had a very nice time and really enjoyed everything! The rooms, the comforts, the personal touch, the talks and - ah just to BE there…. It was really such a good choice! But let me tell you: if you miss out on the offered dinner, you will miss a tasty extra! Breakfast was also extraordinary tasty! Thank you for spoiling us!

Really can't think of anything

I have to say that our stay in South Africa was even better than we thought and this because we stayed at Bloemenzee Boutique B&B. The breakfast was very good and varied The three course dinner offered was five star The rooms were cozy The dogs were cute and kind The garden was very nice and green with two poles The area was quiet and walking distance to the local range of restaurants and the beach approximately 10-15 minutes But the best thing was the couple who owned the place, Lidwien & Franz, very service minded and humbly offered us a lift to the airport as they were going in that direction anyway. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Gordons Bay and South Africa, we will definitely be back.

No complain, but you have to be aware of the two big dogs in the house. But they are super friendly and quiet.

Beautiful Guesthouse and heartwarming owners Lidwien and her husband doing everything to spoil their guests. Perfect breakfast and the option to dine in the guesthouse in the evening. Nice pool and sundeck to enjoy the weather. Highly recommended.

Great location close to town. Comfortable spacious room. Gardens beautifully landscaped and housing two small swimming pools. Amazing choice at breakfast and the added benefit of being able to have a gourmet dinner in the evening on site. The owners are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We will definitely return.

Only a minor issue with the function of the air con on the final night.

Breakfast was first class. The home made bread rolls were to die for! The room was modern, clean and beautifully maintained. Well stocked, fairly priced mini bar in the room. Room service requests dealt with promptly and effectively.

We just spent the most wonderful time in the Cape. Our hosts at Bloemenzee Boutique B&B provided not only the most unforgettable location with fantastic rooms, garden and view over Gordons Bay into False Bay, but also with unbelievable hospitality and the perfect level of family integration and respect for privacy. Dear Lidwien and Frans, thank you so much for a truly wonderful time. PS: Anyone staying at this gorgeous venue should seriously consider Frans's exclusive dinner. PPS: We thoroughly appreciated the absence of a TV set in the room.

Everything! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the hosts and staff were welcoming, accommodating, friendly. Dine-in! You won’t regret it. Chef Frans is a culinary expert. There was nothing left to be desired. Lidwien was an absolute star. She made sure we felt at home at all times.

Arriving at Bloemenzee, you are warmly welcomed by Frans and Lidwien and that amazing hospitality continued throughout our stay. They both show a real interest in you and are amazing hosts. They make you feel at home. Our room was spacious, beds are comfy, with tea, coffee and tasty cookies available. The garden is beautifully maintained with two pools to cool off. The breakfasts were great and we had an evening meal cooked by Frans which was so delicious, some of the best food we had all trip. We were sad to leave and will definitely be returning.

We had the most wonderful stay at Bloemenzee. Lidwien and Franz are two amazing people in many ways. We felt like we where coming to two old friends. Both are so welcoming and warm. The food was amazing, Franz is a very. very good cook!!! The house and the garden is beautiful and safe. We will definitely come back and can only recommend this place.
