This is the second time that my wife and I have been here. The serene location near the edge of the very sea is just what you need The unit itself is clean & cosy and has everything you need without being cluttered. Truly wonderful.

Belinda the owner was very friendly and accommodating with the requests sent. Beautiful little coast side town, nice and quiet surroundings.

Only drawback was that the stairs were very steep. We were "ok". But some people might struggle. Couch in living room was a bit hard. We had to add done loose cushions but other than that it was great.

Everything was lovely and the location is great. Staff was exceptional. Loved our stay there. They went the extra mile for us.

Baviana Beach Lodge in Jacobsbaai is a hidden gem! Belinda, the host, was incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The lodge boasts stunning ocean views and offers a peaceful, tranquil environment that’s perfect for relaxation. A truly memorable stay!

The wi-fi is very limited and reception is poor.

The hostess went out of her way to accommodate us, even providing a bottle of wine, chocolate and fruit on checking in.

Nothing as far as I concerned, it was a piece of Heaven... everything was just.. the way we wanted it... PERFECT

The peacefulness, the weather was absolutely fantastic.. the sound of the waves, hitting against the rocks.. it brings that calming effect over you.. the overall cleaniness of the lodge, everything inside was nicely organised, and available.. one don't have to phone around to asked for a specific item.. the braai area was spotless and it was well planned.. every apartment have their own braai area.. the garden was stunning, well look after.. last but not least the owner was wonderful, we were immediately at ease, very friendly, talkative and she go that extra mile.. for her guest.. for sure we definitely will return and that's a promise.,

The stairs it was hectic its to steep not good at all specially if elderly peoply check in its also deceiving if they dont tell you about it as my friend have a knee problem I dont like the tree infrnt of the window it takes away part of the sunset view Dont like the staircase there at all Also the ceiling to low on your head and the tv also to low and struggled with the wifi Pillows are hard and didnt like the brown very thin comforter its not appropriate for this white beach house

Had a great time at the Baviana beach lodge. Loved the privacy and the beach in the "back yard". Felt like a home away from home.

The choice was between garden view and sea view. We chose seaview. The studio had a small kitchen under the stairs. The stairs were very very steep and narrow and my husband who is 65 struggled to get all our luggage upstairs. Upstairs were the room, bathroom and diningroom table and chairs. I really could not see anybody carrying food up and down that stairs. Also not suitable for couple with a small child because of the stairs.

Belinda and her husband were super friendly. She even left us a bottle of wine, fruit and chocolates and told us where to have dinner. The garden was really beautiful and we loved the view. The lodge is stunning and belinda put some lovely flowers in our room.

No warning about loft room with stairs. No ventilation so room hot. Pillows terrible.

Archie interrogating me about electrical appliances used. His references to restaurants were bad. Poor to no WiFi reception. Poor to no television reception.
