Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

we loved the house and the location. The view is enchanting and the house is located very central about for the entire province. One needs a car. The host was charming and welcoming. It was very nice to manage our own breakfast.

South AfricaUnits are in close proximity to each other. We were worried we were disturbing others with our young child.
We had the Self-Catering room upstairs. It had a cute balcony with a view of Kirstenbosch and Constantia side of Table Mountain. Very well stocked (cutlery, crockery and extras) Ample parking, Bruno handled any requests/needs we had very efficiently. Lovely hot water! Very much appreciated after a long race. Peaceful and quiet. Very quaint!

South AfricaLocation was good for where we needed to go. Housekeeping not good. No cleaning on weekend and no prior notice. Not enough toiletries (including toilet paper) for guests over the weekend are left behind. The place needs a thorough clean and renovation to replace some dated items, especially bathrooms (showers and toilets) and the kitchen.

No breakfast! Not like stated in the description of the accommodation. No garden-view as in the description for our room. No privat pool (and as payed)! From my point of view "private pool" means a pool for your use only - not for all guests. Attention: no late check out as in the description. Bad when taking a late flight (like we did).

SwitzerlandWe had a horrible stay at this place. It was full of mosquitoes and although we took all precautionary measures, our baby girl was bitten all over her face. The place is old and has no air conditioning, hence the mosquitoes enter the room very easily. We made sure all doors and windows were closed before dark, had a mosquito net over the baby crib (which we brought ourselves), used DEET spray on our bodies, but many insects entered the room at night nevertheless. The owner did not tell us about the plug in they had in the room against insects (only the morning after), nor did they make us feel heard when we said we have to leave this place after such a horrible night where we could not sleep at all. Instead of showing understanding for our situation and refunding the two additional nights we had booked but could not stay for the safety of our baby, the owner and his wife communicated in a way as if it was our fault that this happend. I do not recommend this place at all. Instead of making sure his guests are feeling heard and welcome, this host made sure we would never return by simply not taking any responsibility.
The villa looks nice and it has a pool which we sadly were not able to use since our stay got cut short.

South AfricaThe cabinets in the kitchen smelled mouldy, which was a bit concerning. The couch and chairs weren't too comfortable either. The doors needed to be closed very aggressively which was bothersome to other guests.
The location is nice and central. Traffic is always bad in Cape Town in the morning, but accessing main roads was easy. The area is quiet as well, which was nice after a day of travelling. It had all the necessities for a self catering stay and the room was serviced everyday.
