Just a bit of challenge when you come into driveway , turning in from Right side. Easier when coming from the bottom turning left side.

The place is neat ,tidy and fresh, definitely measures up to 5 star service. Loved the spacious bathroom, big tub as well as showers perfect. The outdoors is immaculate and green well maintained gardens. Comfort of pool area with the loungers and also the mobile sun umbrellas.

Armadillo Studios is heaven on earth from check in to check out, Mike is very patient and welcoming always available to assist with questions. This place is close to everything in Knysna. Mam Thembi was so welcoming and loving always available to help :)

It’s contactless check-in. But it’s very easy to get in. Nice pool and night viewing with moonlight. Host is always online and respond promptly. The clean lady is also friendly and humble

There's nothing to complain about..

A really nice and small apartment providing everything you need for a few nights with a wonderful garden and surroundings. A very comfortable bed and a huge bathroom with a separate toilet. Information and communication at its best, while everything worked out super easy. It is a bit off from the main city of Knysna which makes it also very quiet. Offers secure private parking.

The property was spotless and well-maintained, with everything you need available in the apartment. It has a modern design, and the staff is incredibly attentive. The location is ideal for exploring Knysna and its surrounding areas.

The property is beautiful. The rooms/suites face a gorgious garden and private swimming pool. The rooms are appointed with modern and stylish touches, from the kitchen to bathrooms. We met the caretaker who is a delightful lady taking pride in how the property looks and is enjoyable for visitors. Armadillo Studios has solar power and does water collection - the owners are very environmentally conscious.

Excellent accommodation. We loved everything about the place: the tropical garden, the spacious rooms, the design and coziness of the house , comfy beds and pool. Unfortunately, we did not manage to enjoy the pool but it looked amazing and super clean. Everything is very well maintained and clean by the staff. I would suggest a 2 nights stay to get to fully take in the facilities and Beaty of the house.

The only thing that we thought is that the kitchenette is quite small to really cook so you should think of doing simple stuff such as an omelette or a salad, not real cooking (small fridge and small induction plate). You should know that going there. We loved Themba who works there but it would have been nice to meet the owners and greet them.

We really liked the place and our son (6 years old) loved it and asked us when we will go back! We will if we go back to Knysna. The pool which is shared with max three other families is great to have kids mingle and play together in a safe environment and we loved the garden. The room is large and very confortable and the shower is amazing. The area is also very calm and relaxing and we slept very well. It is easy to go jogging in the morning in a beautiful setting and it is close to major attractions points in Knysna. We also liked the Nespresso machine and the possibility to do laundry at a reasonable price.

This place was amazing. I couldn't believe when we arrived and it was so beautiful and spotless, even with things like labelling the light switches. Think heaven and then dial it up a notch. The eco credentials even make you feel virtuous. The building did have a temporary problem with the water supply, but the owners were really responsive and the property manager turned up to fix it - on Christmas Day. The spacious flat gives a real feeling of luxury.
