Very relaxed, quiet, and safe. Lovely area and very friendly host. Always willing to assist. We requested to drop off luggage a little earlier than check-in before heading back to town. Our request was accepted with no extra charges or efforts. This is our second year of returning, and we will most definitely return in 2026.

I have been recovering from a knee sprain, so was horrified that our cottage had very steep(clifflike) steps up and down from lounge to kitchen(we wound up putting little barriers like pot plants in front of the really steep parts so we didn't accidentally fall) and again steep steps up and down to both bathrooms. You don't really think to ask if a ground level cottage has any internal steps, but I should have. lots of other sharp edges here, my husband split a toe open on an odd wooden bathroom door and there are also other surprises such as low hanging shelves to hit your head on. Didn't think it was worth the money as it is extremely basic, let's call it rustic. I was actually relieved to check out of here.

The location was lovely. It was peaceful and everything was spotless and ready for us when we arrived. We loved the loveley walks and the hot tub. The wine was amazing. I think its perfect for an autumn getaway!

The setting was picturesque, the view from the porch & and the hottub was awe inspired. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The host was most helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should have booked it for at least another night. I would highly recommend this beautiful place.

Going back for the third time and enjoyed the upgraded facilities. Early morning walks , sunset on the river beds and listening to the beautiful sounds of the birds were awesome.

The wine produced at Arendsig is absolutely amazing. Both red and white wines are exceptionally good. Comfortable accommodation. The rooms have all the necessary equipment to ensure a decent self catering experience.

Cottages are a bit close together for my personal liking. It could be more private and sheltered around the hot tub. Neighboring cottage Aircon noise interfered with the quiet 8 was after.

Beautiful farm,loads to do and see! From the start we knew exactly what to expect because the owner phoned to make us feel super welcome. We booked two cottages as a family get-away. The hot tubs were managed by staff so that we can just jump in when when it was warm. House keeping was available daily. We could also play tennis,go fishing, canoeing, play boules and explore the farm. We didn't do a wine tasting,but that can be arranged. We loved the indoor fire place in the cold winter nights. Worth the visit!

From the Arrival to Depture the Host was always concerned of the wellbeing of the guests,the tranquility is something else. Arendsig is marked as one of the places to go in the future on a frequent basis. Keep it up you guys have got it right many people are looking for this kind of break away from the hussle and bussle, and I know if they have been there once they definately will be back again.
