Nothing wrong with the accommodation itself, it just sucks that there's no uber in Mosselbay, so you have to hire a car.

The view was amazing. The room and facilities are super comfortable and appealing as well. Great layout and well equipped kichen and kitchenette. Loads of storage space is a great bonus too. Oh and the 1 way mirror windows lets you enjoy the view 24/7.

Exceptional view, thoughtful decor and layout. Great welcome from Rean. In the morning Noleen was very helpful and kind. Given a lovely restaurant for dinner.

Wish we had gone for one of the other rooms since our comfort room was facing the main road, tho noise was not a problem. Just not so tempting to use the balcony. Description should say side sea view.

Beautiful shared living area. Was not expecting complimentary breakfast items. Portable Air conditioning unit also a bonus. Host very helpful and lots of local information provided. Quiet location. Parking within the gated property. Great value for money.

While the traffic noise was somewhat distracting, the noise is much better when you close the sliding doors. We love sleeping with open doors and windows, so we lived with little noise. Despite this, the short walk to the beautiful beach was truly rewarding and made the experience worthwhile.

We chose not to have breakfast. We met the family at another location. Our host was terrific. He allowed me to invite my family over for a braai. With a view like that, we had to braai in their braai room. Some new guests who joined us also arrived, and we made new friends, which was a bonus.

When it was time to leave.

Rean was absolutely fantastic, caring and always make sure that we are happy. Nicolene helped us settle in and always friendly and have a smile. Coffee making facilities available and always stocked up.

The host and his team went out of the way to assist us, we stayed for 2 nights and asked if we can keep our daughter's kitchen tea atvthe venue for it is a gorgeous place. We had a stunning day and great braai facilities. the sea view room was out of this world, spacious, cozy and had everything we needed.

That we could only score Anchors Rest a 10, it is worth so much more.

Roan the owner really really knows about hospitality, we would give him 1000 out of 10. Anchors Rest is absolutely fabulous, peaceful, serene, views to die for, but still easy accessible to restaurants, shops, and the beach is on your doorstep. The rooms, and we stayed in 3 of them, are fantastic, with everything you could want, a selection of coffees, milk, water, chocolates etc. The facilities, you could not ask for more, so much space to move around, from braai areas to pool to dinning room, to tv areas, the host has thought of everything. Would we visit again, in a heartbeat, we did not want to leave.

There were a few areas that needed maintenance. The ceiling and walls in seaview room had water damage. The overhead downlighting in the bedroom didn’t go off at night they just went into dim mode. So 4 lights were on all night. The blinds in bathrooms need replacing.

The location was amazing. We used 2 different rooms one on the Friday and one the following Monday. Both rooms were comfortable and had good linen and beds were comfortable,
