I loved everything about this place. I fell inlove the moment I saw the place and the room. The warmth, comfy, coziness I enjoyed. Very friendly host and amazing aswell. Very private just how I liked it. The place exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was devine.

I found the neighbourhood dogs rather noisy.

I don’t eat breakfast but it was plentiful with excellent choices. The welcome and hospitality was warm and friendly; important for me as a solo traveller. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone went ‘the extra mile’.

She missed having a microwave in her room.

My colleague enjoyed her stay at the premises. The host's welcoming and helpful nature made it a more comfortable and warm experience. The garden was a pleasant surprise and beautiful environment to use as a "home office" whilst travelling.

Curtain as bathroom ‚door‘ was a bit odd, and we didn‘t like it! Our room (Sage) was a bit noisy from the street in the morning.

We enjoyed the well decorated, charming house in vintage style. The garden and the pool are also very nice. Quite safe area, good for a walk. Breakfast is really good, fresh fruits, cereals, joghurt and eggs to our liking. Hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were two friends and not a couple therefore would love to have had two separate beds! However, when I booked it , this was the last room available! Also, having a curtain as a covering for the bathroom is not a good idea! We prefer a door! Thank goodness we had a shower before going to bed as the next morning there was no water! (I know it's not your fault!)

We attended a wedding at Forest road Winery and it was only 8 mins away therefore chose this accommodation!

Nothing...everything was perfect

A really lovely period house with amazing gardens and stoops plus pool. The room was very nicely furnished and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the shower very warm. The wifi was also good. I didn't have breakfast but saw other guests enjoying theirs, looked amazing. There is private secure parking and its only 10 minute drive to the Somerset Malls and 10 - 15 minutes drive to a number of local golf courses if you're a golfer. I can very much recommend Almond Cottage as a place to stay and will definitely stay again.

The peace and quiet. We had a lovely room that opened to a small patio. Perfect to have your morning coffee. The nice areas in the nice garden to enjoy your drink or read a book. The breakfast was also very nice. The hosts were very hospitable, checked regularly to see if we needed anything. Only 8 minutes from the Somerset Mall.

Property was in a beautiful location, very tranquil setting with pretty gardens which was well maintained. Hosts were very kind and friendly in every interaction we had with them. We had no problems everything was better than expected.

The unfortunate thing was that, there was no water in the property. The property did communicate this however it was too late to make alternative arrangements. I hoped that there would be water in the morning at least when we wake up and there wasn't unfortunately. The property still supplied drinking water though. I fully understand that they had no control over the situation.

I loved everything. The room was specious and I liked that the most as I didn't feel cramped in the room. The host was friendly and prepared a nice breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. Everything looked nice and clean.
