Host Reitze was extremely friendly and helpful, met us from the airport late at night and dropped back early in the morning. Beds are very comfortable. We really enjoyed our short stay and felt same as we were welcomed by old good friends.

Nothing of note to mention regarding negatives, beyond the minor issues I touched on above. We were very happy as a group, and think the positives really shine.

The experience with the owners was very good. They went out of their way to be helpful, they were very friendly and really pleasant company during the stay. The airport pickup and drop off, which is included, is really helpful, and could accommodate 6 of us and 7 bags/suitcases. We were able to ask the hosts in advance to take us to a supermarket to do some shopping before we left the following day, and they very kindly obliged us. we also invited the family to dinner, but due to the short notice only the daughter could make it, and she was truly delightful company. We hope in the future to meet with the family and have dinner and conversation on our next trip. They're wonderful people. Breakfast was filling and sufficient for us. It's not a 5-star hotel, but we opted to stay at the guesthouse rather than another hotel stay due to the good reviews. My only let down is the orange juice, while 100%, had preservatives, which I am allergic to, and the taste of which my family are unused to. The room we stayed in was a tad warm, however we opened the window for the night, and there was a fan which helped a lot. The lighting in our room was a bit low, though not gloomy. Some more light would help. All in all, it is a great place to stay, with wonderful hosts that are really a pleasure to interact with, and we highly recommend it. We look forward to meeting the family again on our next trip.

Lovely place, with thatched roofs, offering breakfast and (by special request and additional cost) dinner. We stayed there in transit after a trip, but had a bit of time to explore the area, which is safe and walkable. We had lunch at a restaurant in the area, close to a small shopping mall where groceries are also available. Beautiful garden and sitting areas. The location is a bit further from the airport, but easily accessible by Uber (or using the property shuttle, generously driven by the host). Fascinating host, with lots of travel experience, and with a son who has a dream job (ask him about the son!). The dogs are also quite a treat, friendly and a different size for all preferences. They did not make any noise at night.

After our third stay I could easily say that’s absolutely place to recommend. We love the host who every time welcomed us like at home. We really enjoyed everyday breakfast. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We also had an opportunity to be picked up from airport by the host, we are very thankful for that.

We really do enjoy our second stay in this place. The host is extremely nice, easily reachable and helpful, helping us with airport transfer. We had an amazing sleep and ate an awesome breakfast. The place is an absolute must visit while being in Johannesburg!

The host is extremely nice. We loved this place and are planning to come back in the future. We were picked up from the airport by the host, manage to rest a lot after a long flight. The rooms are in a truly African style, very comfortable and cosy. The food served in an accommodation: dinner and breakfast is totally worth tasting! Thanks a lot and as you in a close future!

Reitze picked us up from the airport after our 13 hour flight from Auz. The kids loved the beautiful dogs. Beautiful well maintained garden. Delicious breakfast The host allowed us a late checkout, that was sweet of him.

Reitze en Coba het ons welkom laat voel. Ons verblyf was heel aangenaam en hul het ons ook bederf met n Valentyns geskenk wat ons baie waardeer het. Die kamer was skoon en netjies. Ontbyt was heerlik! Sal beslis All over Africa Gastehuis aanbeveel.
