Take in mind that the road up the mountain is a bit bumpy (as often on smaller roads in SA)

We stay here at least twice a year. Always reliable. Everything you need at hand. Feels as though you are miles from anywhere although it’s only 10 mins into the town centre.

Amazing location with superb views and super quiet surroundings. Plenty space and everything you need. The terrace is a great place to have breakfast and/or relax. To get there it's an unpaved road about 5-10 minutes uphill but very doable (also with a small car). Recommended to stay here!

Be prepared for a steep climb on a track road up to the property, it is almost 1km long and has great views of the valley, but this also means it is a long drop. It is well maintained but was a surprise. For this reason, we used a taxi to visit the local Wine Estates.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. We were greeted warmly and efficiently. Magdeld went out of her way to help us as we had forgotten some things we needed for our stay. The room was very comfortable and beautifully laid out. The bed was so comfortable. We had breakfast in our room which was brought by two bright ladies, who set everything up and then vanished. Breakfast was great. Magdeld also gave us details of a taxi who looked after us so well, while we visited local attractions.

Great 2 bedroom (both en-suite) with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. Lovely verandah and communal rim- flow pool. Located a few kilometers above Keurbooms.

Honestly nothing comes to mind. We forgot braai wood and they had charcoal and starters at the reception.

Alkantmooi is a stunning property, with exceptional views down to Keurboomstrand River. We had a braai on the veranda watching sunset after a lazy afternoon at their infinity pool. Highly recommend staying here if you want the option for a quiet getaway.

The access road was a winding dirt road which we hadn't expected, so had to be driven cautiously, but it's in very good condition and was no problem at all.

This is a little haven on the outskirts of Plett. Quiet and so spacious and comfortable - with amazing views. The cottage/apartment is extremely well quipped, beds are very comfortable and there is free wifi. The pool area is a delight too! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

I had an incredible experience at Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve. The property offers breathtaking views, particularly from the saltwater pool, which was absolutely stunning. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The living room and garden area are spacious and perfect for relaxing, adding to the sense of tranquility. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the thoughtful touch of welcoming food from the host was a delightful surprise. For the price, this property is an exceptional deal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and memorable getaway.
