We spent the last few days at this incredibly beautiful lodge. Hennie and Ilse are both incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. From booking tours to preparing delicious breakfasts, nothing is too much for them. Highly recommended.

The stay was too short.

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, it was a real pleasure to be looked after in this way. The room was not huge but had a very pleasant character, with a high thatched roof/ceiling. Location was great, at the edge of the small town next to some nice woodland. Breakfast was wonderful. I even got snorkeling equipment at very short notice.

The hospitality of the hosts Hennie and Ilse was wonderful. They were both very attentive and helpful to provide us with sites to see and insuring that were we always comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding and they offered a variety during our stay. The accommodation is clean, quiet and well located, within walking distance of the main streets. We had private secured parking for our rental car. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return ourselves some day.

The facilities were very good. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the facilities and in our interactions with Hennie and Ilze. The breakfast was superb. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Everything was perfect, nice place, stuff and owners very friendly and good. Explain everything well and go out of there way to make sure that the customers are sorted amd know where the good stuff is to go and what to see and where to eat.

The downstairs room was very dark with very little natural or artificial light.

The location was perfect - within easy walking distance to restaurants but not noisy. The gardens were very beautiful and lush. Although small, the pool was perfect to have a dip and cool off. The breakfasts were delicious and there was a new sweet treat each day. Henne and Ilze were very helpful in explaining what was available in the area and booking for us. It was great that we could borrow snorkeling equipment from them too.

We had a very pleasant stay at the African ambience guest house. The breakfast was excellent and the host were very welcoming.

The rooms are a bit dark but that is understandable because of the thatch roof.

The name African Ambience cannot do the guest house more justice. The extremely well kept stunning garden and pool allows the visitor to completely relax. The breakfast was just awesome and no need to feel peckish before lunch. The owners Hennie and Ilze went out of their way to ensure every need was fulfilled. We will definitely return at a heartbeat.

Would have liked a fridge in our room, but we were allowed to use the bar fridge in the family room.

The location was perfect, breakfast was delicious and Hennie and Ilze were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. On arrival, we were given a map and a heads-up on all the great places to visit around St Lucia and Hennie arranged a night drive for us in the game reserve. We will definitely be visiting again!
