The meals were ok, I expected a bit more, I was especially disappointed in the seafood basket - only fried ingredients.

Noi sy group constantly occupying the pool. Breakfast order a mess. Staff had no clue what was going on. No glasses, no coffee, wrong food, slow and confused. Did not ecpect that for 2500, especially since the next day, tuesday, would only have cost 1500

An oasis. Beautiful lush garden with stylish and relaxed central eating area and pool. Very relaxing and very well looked after. Nice runs in the surrounding vineyards. Great massage and facials at the Spa.

The property is beautiful and the atmosphere is serene. All the staff was super helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Great for business travel. The room was outstanding!

Very loud petrol generator during load-shedding is located right outside Ruby Cabernet and Chardonnay suits. This was quite disruptive and did ruin the peace and quite - particularly at night. Although it turns off at 10pm, it turns back on again at 6am which may not be great for late sleepers. This wouldn’t really be an issue when load shedding is in the lower stages, but wasn’t great for a period where there was 10+ hours of load-shedding.

The setting is beautiful, right next to the orange river with lots of beautiful big old trees keeping you shaded. We had great meals at the restaurant and were well looked after by our server, who was absolutely lovely. The room (Ruby Cabernet) was exceptionally comfortable and we loved sitting by the warm fire at night with a glass of complementary sherry. A good base to explore surrounding areas, such as Augrabies Falls and nearby wine farms.

All of it, the tranquility was exceptional, like an oasis. Loved tge spacious room, tge dining facilities, just all round best stay we had, and we travelled extensively. The small detail like a welcome sherry in the room just topped it
