Our stay at AfriCamps was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and everything was beautifully set up for a peaceful getaway. The tent was incredibly comfortable a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Waking up to the sounds of nature, enjoying coffee on the deck with a breathtaking view, and relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub under the stars were just a few of the highlights. The surroundings were peaceful, the facilities were spotless, and the experience was both refreshing and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of nature without giving up comfort. We’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful farm with wonderful people. We loved staying in the tent and our kids had a great time with the horses, chickens, playing on the playground , fishing and other lovely things. The scenery around the farm is breathtaking and just taking it all in was my favourite thing to do everyday. The breakfast basket we ordered had everything we needed and the farmshop is well stocked. We would love to come back.

It was stunning, hot tub was wonderful, staff were so helpful, the working dairy farm was a treat! Wonderful kids play areas, shop, pool and hikes.

We loved our stay at Africamps Oakhurst. Staff was very friendly and so helpful. There was so much to do especially for the children. Will highly recommend Africamps Oakhurst.

We are all light sleepers so did struggle a bit with the night noises from nature, but this is not something one can control and part of the experience. Maybe just a side note to put in earplugs next time. We would have loved a larger swimming pool closer to the tents, but again, you can't have it all. :)

Absolutely loved our stay. The kids (9 and 11 years old) had a blast. We did not know what to expect (first time staying with AfriCamps) but the tents exceeded our expectations. The tent was equipped with everything we needed. The staff were lovely and helpful. The shop at reception had everything you need. You can buy fresh milk from the dairy at reception (kids devoured this). The highlights for the kids were the horse ride (extra cost), feeding the donkeys, the huge play area next to the tents and don't forget the treasure hunt. You can download an app to do a treasure hunt around the camp. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. They rode their bicycles from point to point and we joined in with our tekkies. We also did the forest trail which is a beauty. We cannot wait to try out some of the other AfriCamps after this holiday.

The nightlife noises are not something one is used to, so ear plugs are advised for the light sleepers.

We were informed about the monkeys and we are used to issues like this (also noting not much can be done about it) but it did scare the kids a bit.

Everything we needed was available at the shop and the quality was great. Our unit was peaceful and comfortable and it was the perfect glamping experience.

Our stay was almost perfect! The only thing we struggled with were the noisy frogs in the pond right in front of the tent. We love nature and its sounds but they got very noisey (>85dB).

Great facilities, beautiful surroundings, loved the quaint setting! The tent was well equipped, lovely bedding, and the hottub was amazing! The staff at the reception was lovely too and made us feel very welcome. A special shoutout to the personalized sign welcoming us at the entrance of the camping - loved that!

I loved everything about the property.

We stayed in a lovely tent. It was equipped with everything that we needed even for Christmas dinner with family. The aircon was well enough to cool down the entire unit. There is allot for the kiddos to do at the property. I loved that the property is tucked away in the mountains and woods.

Absolutely loved the experience. Wished we had stayed for 2 nights. Kids loved the playground and the animals. Food was absolutely delicious and the baskets (we had the braai basket and breakfast basket) are more than sufficient. Hot tub - awesome. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Tent, well appointed and I even commented to my wife, it's the first time we've stayed at a "self catering" establishment that provided utensils and equipment in great condition. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, especially Joan (I think that's here name) from the reception. Definitely will do this again.
