The owner is friendly and welcoming. The place needs a lot of work but it was what i needed for my 4 hour stay. I would like to go back in 5 years. I think it will be different.

The place does not at all look like the photos. The bed was not comfortable. Bathroom very small. The owners family was'nt considerate og guest in the early hours of the morning. The area is full of taverns. The yard looks like a salvage yard or scrap yard. I do not recommend it at all.

I last booked and paid, and arrived 20.minutes earlier than my estimated time at around 11pm. I was driving only car. I tried to knock (honk my car) but no.one opened and their telephone was switched off. Had to rearrange alternative accommodation and lost my money. The street where property is is dark and threatening at night. .

The place is close to the.airport and is easily accessible.from.CBD johannesburg.

The lighting in our room was flickering we had to use side lamps as the source of light, the double bed mattress was worn out, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable, although the room was clean and smelled really fresh, the roaches crept in at night, so it would be great if they could fumigate the place.

The host was amazing, Big up to Jimmy, he attended to all our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. When we arrived in the wee hours of the morning, he was always awake to make sure that we enter the facility safely and securely. Gave us the kitchen although we ate takeaways to avoid cooking he didn't have a problem with us using his kitchen.

1. The refrigerator was not working. I had my beer Hot 😭 2. No Dstv channels. I had to watch Zee world and SABC channels for 2 full night's. 3. No WiFi 4. Smallest toilet seat, I'm a size 42, it was uncomfortable. 5. 1 towel to use from Thursday to Sunday morning. Small towel enough to wrap the hair. And again, the shower was very small. It was uncomfortable showering with the curtain sticking to me. 6. I got a glass and a teacup which was good. But I was too shy to ask for spoon n and folk, or change of a clean cup n glass the next day. I'm always shy to ask for things I should get. 7. No soap or a small lotion nyana. I had to call a client to take me to the mall for essentials. And I travelled 8 hours to JHB. That was a huge let down. 8. Saturday afternoon as I was turning in preparing for the trip ahead, the boys decided to play soccer outside my window. Banging the ball against the window about 3 times. 😭 All 3 times I would just bcz Im not used to Traveling alone. I was scared. 9. Please close the ventilators inside the house. No need really. I only went to bed after 1am bcz everytime someone walks in the hallway or phone from the reception rang, I would be disturbed.

The family is friendly and the kids are well mannered. It was a secured house, that counts. There's good light in the room. Thank u for the tea n coffee. The couch was comfortable.

As I walked into my room, I found roaches coming out of the fridge and crawling on the table, I was so scared to even put my food on the table, this really ruined my appetite and I felt uncomfortable. I did not shower or anything, I just tried to sleep and got out first thing in the morning because of what I had seen, the pictures show online show a nice blue pool and states there’s pool facilities but upon arrival there was no water in the pool and looks damaged. I personally think this is false advertising and booking.com needs to inspect places to see if the property matches their description. I am disappointed.

We want a refund. I have sent a mail for cancellation and am awaiting reply. False advertising. The place is in a bad state and we could not stay there. We are extremely disappointed and I will advise nobody to ever use your services.

The environment was poor. No electricity. When I touched the tap and bath handle simultaneously I experienced an electrical shock. When I reported it the owner he explained that the fault was at the electrical pole on the street. We had to rely on one candle for light. The fridge and kettle in the room was off.

The fact that the room is more of a communal setting than a home away from home. Other than the bedroom and bathroom everything else was shared, it was basically a room within a house. The yard looks more like a panel beater than a guest house. There are rundown cars etc. The property itself looks like it's about to go under. The fridge I found in my room wasn't working and the one used as a replacement was old and dirty. The bed sheets (white) had black and brown stains on them and were burned in some parts.

The location. It was close to my academy so it made it easy for my daily commute during my stay. I was able to study and sleep.

Room too small Smell from the bathroom Kitchen too small, only coffee and sugar was provided, no tea and milk, no spoons No shower gel and tissues Old towels , from white to brown, I was only given one guest towel, Their swimming pool isn’t working and it’s very old Reception is very poor, the boys were making noise Bed is old, no comfort, my back is still sore Cleanliness isn’t good TV is not DSTV, they didn’t have all the channels

I did not stay at the venue no one was at the gate nor the venue. The cell number provided went straight to voicemail

I never got to enter the premises. I was locked. There was no one at the gate nor on the phone to answer. I ended going to book some other place and forfitting the money I paid for acacia accommodation.
