Absolutely perfect for a weekend away from Cape Town! The owner, Jacqueline, was present and very friendly and helpful. Suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Beautiful views and a huge pool - great for anyone who wants to do laps. Breakfast was also excellent and plentiful - lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, large selection of breads, eggs & bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee. The complimentary wines - 3 bottles (2 white and 1 red) - were also very enjoyable, particularly sitting out on the patio watching the sun set over the beautiful valley. Great proximity to Stellenbosch and all its amenities. Staff were lovely, security good and visible.

The owner greeted us with a wine tasting, and a lovely chat. All the lodges are amazing in size and all have a beautiful view. The pool is of nice size, with also the beautiful view. It is close to Stellenbosch (Uber was 70 rand to city centre, but would recommend to support the local taxis). The breakfast is the biggest we had during our whole trip, with actually fresh orange juice. You get several different pillows in the room, and it was very clean and quiet.

Nothing really, can't fault it. There was a problem with our fire in 'Alejandro' so I wouldn't suggest using it.

Aaldering is beautiful and very well looked after, staff are lovely and very friendly. We were given three bottles of their own wine to enjoy. The rooms are very big and clean. It's also nice that there's only three rooms at the whole property so it's never overcrowded.

A lovely lodge surrounded by vineyards. It is a 7 to 10 mins drive to the centre of Stellenbosch, about 30 mins to the airport of Cape Town and about 1 hour to the waterfront of Cape Town.

Amazing stay largely due to the wonderful staff! It was my birthday and Jaqueline made me feel so special with lots of surprises. Breakfast was delicious and so generous. The views spectacular and the daily room service made you feel so spoilt and luxurious.

The thatched roofs always have a particular smell which is not necessarily bad but you should know that.

The lodge is just beautiful and a really marvelous place. Such a quietness and atmosphere is outstanding. And the service and vine of course!

Everything! It was our 2nd stay here (previously been for a few wine tastings). We were greeted like old friends. Jacqueline & the team are amazing at looking after you and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully decorated & spotless. Views are stunning, as is the wine!
