Nothing - this was a perfect stay!

A beautiful gem situated within the prestigious estate 'The Majestic' with everything needed right on your doorstep inclusive of a private pool - Gym and a Spa! Right in the middle of town but protected from the noise and elements tucked in behind the old Majestic Hotel. Beautiful gardens - excellent security! The interior and luxury of the two-bedroom house was so much more than what we expected, and we enjoyed a fantastic weeklong stay.

A blackout curtain, a few hooks and a waste paper basket in the bathroom are honestly all I can think of!

The property was exceptionally well presented. Not only was it spotlessly clean but the furnishings and art work were beautiful. The owner and letting agent were great with communication and the facilities on site also surpassed our expectations.

Very little not to like if I was being really really picky I would have like to have champagne flutes and some more bar things like a shaker given there was a Whisky decanter and tray so nicely provided and Ice bucket it would have “made” the bar area exceptional but like I say, super super picky

Jaw dropping when we walked in at how beautiful the living area is. Very well equipped some lovely touches throughout and exceedingly comfortable. The outside patio with BBQ/Smoker brilliant. Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher was great. The ice bucket with fruit board & lemon as you walk in with a whisky tray, whisky ready too, a lovely touch and so welcoming. Perfect bath and shower set up, very comfortable, lovely bed so luxurious and comfortable. The gate staff were brilliant so kind and helpful, very easy to collect keys on arrival and parking facilities perfect, the pool by the flat is perfectly located and a lovely facility

The apartment was tastefully and stylishly decorated, and was very spacious, especially the living area and kitchen/food preparation areas. There was even a little internal courtyard with the ability to make a braai (barbeque) although we didn't have the occasion to make use of it. The apartment was extremely well appointed, with washing machine, dishwasher, great cooking hob and oven, nice lighting throughout, large flatscreen TV and DSTV, wifi internet (with a good connection speed), comfy furniture, etc. The two bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and the ensuite bathrooms (especially the master bedroom) were very spacious. There is underfloor heating which makes everything very nice and cosy in a Cape Town winter which can be quite chilly. Overall the apartment exceeded my expectations, which is quite rare from what is usual Booking.com descriptions. The photos on the listing are a very accurate reflection of what to expect. Finally, the location in Kalk Bay is perfect, and I appreciated the on-site parking within the security of the Majestic complex.

Beautiful home. Extremely well finished and decorated. Something out of a magazine. Location could not have been better. With underground Parking 3 meters from front door . Very safe. Very comfortable. You may never want to leave.

The place was spotless and perfectly prepared for our stay. There was a lovely welcome basket with all the essentials that one might such as fresh milk, butter, rusks & extra special things for the occasion. The accommodation has many luxuries and extras which made the stay so much more enjoyable. The hosts are very helpful and very quick to respond to our communications. I would definitely recommend this place if you are making this a long or short stay to enjoy and explore the greater area of the South Peninsula - either in summer or winter...it has a lovely fire place!

Can’t think of anything

Location, secure and central. Great quality finishes and well equipped kitchen. Great bed linen. Gifts on arrival and very clean. Beautifully decorated. Great having wood at hand for the fireplace. Will def book again.
