Sandra is amazing, and the most friendly, helpful host. We received such a warm welcome, and loved every aspect of our stay. Clean, everything we needed and more. So if you are heading to McGregor, look for Sandra and look for The Cowshed. We loved it!

The Cowshed is perfect for a little couples getaway. It has all the necessary amenities that you’d need. Located in a quiet street not too far away from the main road. Clean and well maintained. Sandra also made for the perfect host.

The prettiest cottage with a delightful swimming pool to cool down. Tranquil surroundings but close enough to walk to the restaurants and shops. We had everything we needed and more! So clean and light . An absolute treasure.

Cleanliness and the splash pool. Love it!

The host, Sandra, was very friendly and responded quickly on all communication. The little splash pool was so needed during the warm weather. Very clean cottage and well stocked. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding. We really enjoyed our stay in the Cowshed and I will recommend it to anybody who wants to visit Mcgreggor.

I didn't like that some of the locals were around bothering people for money etc...also felt a little unsafe when walking.

Place was even better in person and we had such an amazing weekend away visiting the donkey sanctuary, checking out cool markets in town and wine tasting plus an amazing dinner at Tebaldi's which was the hosts Sandra's recommendation.

The place was very nice and neat, with a lovely fireplace and ample supply of wood to make it very cosy on a wet winters weekend. Sandra is a wonderful friendly host. We will return in summer to enjoy the pool and outside braai area.

What a lovely little unit! It had everything we needed for our 4-night visit. We loved the pool and braai area, used it often! Everything was perfectly clean, well thought out, wonderfully private and excellent value for money. We appreciated the small amenities provided like soap, shampoo, tea and coffee, olive oil with salt and pepper - nice touch. Sandra is a superb and very attentive host. She anticipated so many things even before I could ask. I can wholeheartedly recommend this little gem.

The Cowshed was perfect for my stay: Sandra was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean, and had everything one could want - an extra towel was provided for the swimming pool (yes, there is a small splash pool). Sandra even provided shower gel and shampoo, as well as dishwashing liquid and instant coffee and sugar. I will definitely visit again.

We got there at night ! Follow Sandra directions, not google haha. We had a warm welcome and it is a beautiful cotrage, comfi bed and couch ( deco is different from the pictures) The pool is a good size for 2. We can go there again for a weekend ;).
