The proximity of the bathroom to the bedroom is weird, a bit far, and access to the bathroom is through the kitchen. Having said that, the heater in the bathroom is very welcome during winter.

I really enjoyed the privacy of the apartment: the service door did not trouble me at all. The view from the balcony is lovely and makes for spectacular sunsets. The location is great, close to restaurants and the beaches, and not far from the city centre. There is a nice walking path behind the guest house which is located in a quiet neighbourhood.

The location was good, close to restaurants and plenty of walking without needing to use a car. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the comfortable lounge with the log fire, warm and cosy as the weather was cold and wet!!

Friendly reception, spacious unit and situated in a quiet area but easy to reach Hermanus central town by car. A well-equipped apartment with a lovely patio and beautiful mountain views!

The property is located in a nice part of Hermanus. The facilities is nice and spacious and the crackling fire in the fireplace makes it even better. The hosts must be commended on their hospitality. We will definitely go back.

Jose and Ton are perfect hosts. The accomodation was gorgeous (room 3) - lots of square footage, beautiful big private balcony, and the shared spaces are sweeeeeet. We really felt at home. Nice music in the livingroom with a cozy fireplace, a grand piano that will leave you speechless and the pool lounging area is fantastic. Nice touches with plants, home decor, etc. We had a car so location was perfect. Quiet area, beaches a few blocks away, 5 minutes to downtown and an amazing mountain behind us. Saw the baboons make their trek from mountain to ocean stopping at the trees right off our balcony. 🙂 Highly recommend this stay. Peaceful, private and yet social, clean, beautifully decorated, and the hosts are awesome. They had great suggestions and seemed to know what interested us from our discussions. Great stay!

Great apartment with lovely outside space and great views. Well equipped, walking distance to shop, coast park and nature walks. We especially enjoyed having a comfortable lounge area, often this is not the case. We enjoyed our stay.

the wifi was frankly awful and i got quite frustrated at times. but on a positive note it got us off our phones.

the peace and tranquility, the slightly rustic feel and the proximity to the best beaches of Voelkip, rather than being right in Hermanus the room had plenty of space and the hosts were very lovely felt close to nature and the mountain view was stunning

A very charming place hosted by very charming gentlemen in a very charming location. We spent 10 days there ...nice and calm... We look forward to come back!

My only suggestion is that the lighting in the rooms could be brighter. After sunset it was quite dark in the room even with all the lights on.

Very comfortable accommodation on a quiet street yet very close to shops and sights. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Unfortunately it was very windy during our stay so we weren't able to use our lovely terrace much. Overall a great place to stay.

José was proved an excellent host. Welcomed my wife and I at the door. Delivered the house-rules. Carried our luggage to our space. Helped look for food/gift/Christmas markets. Recommended nature walks. Our stay was super. Well-furnished. Wi-Fi. Television. Balcony with oceanic views. An over-all great stay.
