Everything was perfect.

Our stay was marked by exceptional hospitality and genuine attention to detail. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Even a small mix-up regarding the nearest airport was quickly resolved with their help, as they recommended a car rental that worked perfectly for us. We arrived hungry after lunchtime and were immediately offered a quick meal, followed by a delicious dinner served in our room. My wife, who is five months pregnant, received outstanding care throughout our stay - from meals tailored to her dietary restrictions to special attention during tours, including extra blankets and more comfortable seating. The hotel also stands out for offering excellent non-alcoholic beverage options, which was a meaningful touch for us. The accommodations are flawless: comfortable, clean, modern, and with thoughtful details like pre-warmed sheets waiting for us after excursions. Our guided tour to Kruger National Park was led by a knowledgeable guide who made the experience even more enriching. Upon returning, our room was always tidy and welcoming. This lodge offers exceptional service! Our personal butler was absolutely outstanding. The private breakfasts with a lovely lady named Lucky were truly royal — the service was impeccable! Yannis kept changing the locations for our breakfasts and dinners, which made the experience magical every time. At our request, they organized a campfire in the wild and a picnic by the river — simply beyond words! You are the best, don’t ever change — everything was top-notch! The cuisine was excellent, and the house was extremely comfortable. Giraffes and other animals roam around the lodge — though we didn’t see any predators.

We had an exceptional time. The staff treated us like family. The room was gorgeous (with a pool and outdoor showers so we can enjoy the water while being eyed by giraffes, impala, and baboons), they organised a night outside under the stars in an observation tower, a game drive that we'll never forget, a picnic by the river, a chance to meet elephants at a nearby reserve, and many delicious meals that we enjoyed on our own. The perfect retreat regardless of whether it's family or something romantic. I can't wait to come back.

We were surprised with an incredible upgrade to a stunning villa, enjoyed romantic sundowners with champagne, a private game drive, and a gourmet picnic during the safari—all arranged flawlessly. We’ve stayed at iconic properties like Aman, Mandarin Oriental, and the Peninsula, and Oase absolutely matches that standard of service. Going home… but I promised my son we will come back.

We spent 3 fantastic days. Very skilled staff and attentive to every detail to make the stay a memorable experience. Perfect suite with every comfort. Excellent food quality, the chef is very good and takes care of every guest requirement (some of the best meat in my life). There are many activities organized for every need, my 8 years old son can't wait to wake up in the morning, he learned how to fish and recognizing animals footprints in the reserve. Thanks to Janus and Njabulo for all the care.

We booked Oase as a quick stopover on the way through from Nelspruit to the top of Kruger. We had no clue what to expect, but what we found is difficult to put into words. Enough though we were only at the lodge for about 10 hours, the staff couldn't do enough for us. From start to finish it was truly a special experience. The room we stayed in was apparently their cheapest room, but it did not feel cheap and was above almost every room we have ever stayed in before. The food was also superb - desert to die for! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lodge and indeed we have changed out return flights from JNB so that we stop again on our way back and spend more time here.

The staff, from Janus (the Lodge Manager) to our personal Butler (Kitso) and many more (Njabulo, Fanny, Noel, Given etc) were super helpful and their communication was excellent throughout our stay. The room (Chesterfield Suite) was very clean and well decorated and we even had giraffes pass by our room daily. The property offered many activities both within the property, such as Game Drives, Picnics, Mountain Biking, and outside the property such the Day Trip to Kruger Park with Soly from Bush Baby Tours which we would highly recommend. We also did the Treetop Sleepout which is also a truly unique experience. Would highly recommend staying at Oase by 7 Star Lodges!

We could have stayed LONGER but that was our own fault for having kids back in the US that we left behind. Next time, we won't leave the kids so we have NO EXCUSES to extend our stay!

Staff, scenery, food and service were all great. Rooms are outstanding and the setting is amazing. The attention to detail by staff is like nothing we’ve ever experienced before. We even decided to extend our stay as we were enjoying it so much. The reserve they take you to for game drives is excellent, you see so much and up close.

Whilst this is a very nice place to stay there needs to be clarity regarding what is on offer, what is included vs what is excluded in the price as this is not clear on booking.com For example ; There is no big 5 on the game drive The sleep out is not included on the price Alcoholic drinks are not included in price Full board vs all inclusive are apparently not the same Booking.com was incredibly misleading with regards to this property

The welcome had a lot of potential for improvement. Everything seemed very impersonal, rushed and improvised. A warm welcome looks different.

The quiet location of our flat, the service of our butler Njabulo was outstanding. The service of Stanley and Noel and the cookery of the chefs ***** was simply wonderful.
