Maria went out of her way to accommodate me and the reason for my travels. She was except6friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so tasty, and the bed was very comfortable.

The host was very friendly and communicated with us on a regular basis. When the stay had to be extended and the accommodation was not available anymore, she made a plan and assisted us in getting other accommodation. We will return every time we have to work in PE.

I enjoyed my stay with my family, this was the second year we visited and was happy with everything. Location is great as we could move between Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth , its easily accessible and quiet as my parents are seniors and enjoyed the stay.

Location-wise the B&B is nearish the central area of Port Elizabeth but it is a bit far from the boardwalk mall/Summerstrand beaches. This isnt a major issue as we found the Ubers in PE were very affordable.

Super comfortable stay with Maria, what a wonderful host, super friendly and kind. We were able to leave our bags there when our bus arrived early in the morning. The breakfast spreads in the morning were delicious with nice variety. The room was nicely decorated and cozy, drinking water is provided as the taps and shower run on rain water. There was tea and coffee in the room, a small fridge, kettle and a microwave. There is basic cultery so we could make basic meals. Really happy with our stay here!

The road the house is situated on can be a tad noisy but the rooms are at the back of the property on the quieter side so it didn't bother too much

Maria is an excellent host - and she makes an amazing breakfast! Our room was clean and well appointed, and when there was a city-wide electricity interruption during our stay, Maria went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of

There is nothing not to like

The room was clean and cozy with the most comfortable pillows and the extra touches of Chocolates and a welcome sign. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Maria you are a wonderful host. Visitors must try her homemade marmalade jam overall a wonderful and very pleasant stay at 36 Mount Guest Lodge PE.

There was nothing negative that I can write about. It was a lovely stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Guesthouse. Maria was the perfect hostess and went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious! Every morning was something different and there were plenty of breakfast options available. We would definitely book again if we travel to PE in the future.

No aircon , but the cross breeze was great

The bathroom for the budget double room, since it's on the ground floor could do well with an air extractor, as it does not have ventilation or air circulation. The bathroom space is on the small side, for the budget double room.

The breakfast was a joy and great, with a variety in the menu and freshly prepared foods. Maria was lovely and user-friendly. The location has a nice area and sea view. Most importantly, it's 9 minutes drive to where most of our activities were taking place.

I liked where the property was situated, we could easily drive from Uitenhage to there, Boardwalk, were a few minutes away. It is quiet and relaxing for any age, the hostess was very accommodating with my elderly parents and aunt:-)...The breakfast we received was super yummy, one day we got lost , and I could just phone her and she directed us home, it wasn't an inconvenience for her, she was always readily available, and always asking if there is anything else she can do:-)
