We battled to find a place where we could sit and have our coffee and smokes in the morning. There were tables and chairs outside but no cover

The staff went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable. Even when some things I requested for were not part of their duty, they still joyfully got it done for me. Special shout out to Talisa. She especially did everything possible to make my stay comfortable, and help me get my passport back. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Cape Town. Kudos!

Overall it was a wonderful stay, the customer service was good. Loved their omelet. The rooms are lovely and the view of the mountain from the balcony is nice to see especially at sunset.

Not specific when choosing rooms.I booked the queen deluxe suit.assuming it was next to each other but the one room was far away from the other.One was Daisy and the other was lavender maybe to mention which specific house you will be staying in.

Making the reservation was a challenge. E-mail was not read through twice . I requested the one room to have twin beds on booking . Com. Called to check if possible and was confirmed that one room would have twin beds - also emailed and this was confirmed. This was not done and my brother was told that I did not inform anyone when I made the booking - which I did - 3 times and I have proof. . One rooms door doesn’t close properly and the rooms were not serviced on the 2nd day of the stay. I

The check could have been smoother as they couldn’t find my key and the remote on my key didn’t work for the gate. The bed is a bit dated, could do with a new mattress. But the stay overall was good these are really minor things.

Everyone was very friendly. The apartment was also very spacious. And very fast WiFi which was great as I needed it to work.

The only downside to our experience was the breakfast. The shared seating arrangement was fine, but it would be much more organized if the staff guided guests to their seats rather than leaving them to decide, as this led to some confusion. Breakfast options included a continental selection followed by a cooked meal—either an English breakfast or an omelette. While these were great choices, the cooked breakfasts took a while to arrive and, unfortunately, were quite oily, which affected the overall quality.

During our visit to Cape Town, we chose to stay outside the city center in a more suburban area and simply took taxis in when needed. This turned out to be a great decision, as the guesthouse was absolutely lovely. The on-site parking was secure, giving us peace of mind. Our room was incredibly spacious and offered excellent value for money. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff—they went above and beyond to assist us at every turn. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!
