The hotel does need a little maintenance and general updating. Some small things like sealant coming off the shower door, wallpaper that is starting to peel and light water damage is visible in places. And while the breakfast is tasty and fresh, I would have expected it to have a larger variety especially with all the bakeries around and the price charged.

The location of this hotel is excellent, close to shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were also exceptionally helpful and always ready to assist. The room (Fynbos) was comfortable and I had everything I needed all wrapped in a beautiful soundproof wrapping. Plus the wifi is super fast.

Parking a bit tricky in Stellenbosch

Great location. Comfortable bed. Decent TV. Even thought it is on a busy road, the windows are double glazed and block the traffic noise. Good breakfast

A bit noisie in the night (It was weekend and the students just returned from their break).

Perfect location to be in the centre of Stellenbosch for 2 days. The service and support was great. We got breakfast take away for the early check out! Perfect support to get the bike and wine tour organized.

My room was next to the lift and I found the sounds of this slow, goods-lift very loud and disruptive as the guests staying next door in the hotel used it until late into the night

Noise in the street early in the morning. This wakes one up and when on a business trip it is difficult to sleep again thereafter. The double windows is not making up for the noise, however the facility remains location wise to be excellent

We got the room called ‘Oak’, which is located right next to the very noisy lift. Avoid it. The lift is super loud and annoying. The wifi was non-existent. Staff mentioned that ‘something’ was wrong, but after 2 nights there, nothing had been done to fix it. Really disappointing. Wouldn’t stay in the ‘Oak’ room again.

Nothing comes to mind. I liked thee Studio room. Aircon gave us some issues though but, its not a deal-breaker.

The location was great, always alot to do in Dorp Street. Also, the silence and the great attentiveness from Ches was great - take care of her, she is doing a good job.
