How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was delicious so many options to choose from different breads soups beef sausage chicken escalope salads so many different cheeses and the staff where amazing so helpful especially in the receptions great lads they organise trip to Rugova mountains etc… Thank you 🙏

Verified reviewThe air conditioning was not cold. It was at least 25 degrees in the room. The television was not smart, just standard which you don't really need as a tourist. In addition, the expectation was that everything would go smoothly, but at check-in they could not find us and still had to look for a solution. In addition, the breakfast was very limited. Not a breakfast worthy of 5 stars.

Verified reviewIt was my second time in the hotel, the first being in 2018 when I travelled alone. I enjoyed my first stay in the hotel so much, that I wanted to stay there again. My partner and I were surprised by an upgrade and got a big room with a beautiful view. My partner and I work in aviation and therefore for the past 12 years we have been in hotels around the world more than in our own bed. The thing that makes Dukagjini so different from other hotels I have seen is that you get the comfort of a luxury hotel with the hospitality and warmth of a local guesthouse. It was in small details such as greeting us after arriving from a 10 hr hike, even with us looking and feeling like a wet mountaingoat, and asking us how our day was and offering us to bring a cup of coffee in the room. Or putting the sauna quickly on when we were swimming in the lovely pool. Everybody, from the reception, restaurant staff untill the cleaning ladies, were so polite and welcoming. Everything was very clean and well organised. We also had a very nice dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights, but it will always be my place to be when I come back to beautiful Kosovo.

Verified reviewThe location was absolutely perfect. The rooms were comfortable and clean, I got a room with a great view towards the mountain. The breakfast was delicious, there were so many options, local or international, that it was difficult to choose. Went to the spa one evening, I tried only the hot sauna, the steam room was under repair. The pool looked very clean, the water was warm enough. The only thing I didn't like, was the jacuzzi, the water was very cold and at the time I was there, no staff was around. However I had a great stay at this hotel, and will choose again it next time.

The restaurant serves a variety of local favorites which were well prepared and presented. Breakfast was ample My husband enjoyed his massage at the spa. Peja is an easy place to navigate and the hotel is right in the center. Special thanks to Tony for going above and beyond in all ways and those involved at the front desk/ kitchen/restaurant for my husband's birthday celebration.
Nitpicking but bathroom soap could be better quality and towels softer.

Verified reviewI had a head/neck/shoulder massage and it was excellent! My neck had been bothering me for 3 days and after the message, I could move my head in all directions without pain. I even went out on a long steep hike up in Rugove Valley the next day. and had no problems. Also, the front desk staff was exceptional - incredibly helpful, no matter how many questions I asked. When I wanted Fliya and was having trouble finding it, the front desk told me that it takes a long time to make so if isn't always available in the morning. When I returned from my hike in the late afternoon, I found that the front desk person I had been talking to had gotten some fliya and left it at the front desk for me!
The lights by the bed didn't work. And the light in the main part of the room was pretty dim. But overall, my room was fabulous.
