AustraliaThe room wasn’t ready when we arrived after 2pm so we were late to the 3pm wedding that we were there for, the Tv for my kids to stay in the room wasn’t working and when I asked for someone to come fix it, receptionist said sorry the tv’s all on my block are out unfortunately so I requested another room then they said they’ll send someone around which they finally did an hour later, the phones were not plugged in for us to contact reception so we had to walk all the way to the front with issues. someone did say they were going to bring the wire connection for the phone but never did. The wifi passwords that were given kept cutting out especially from the wedding venue at the resort & the reception area for wedding & even in our room. And then we were promised a beach view but could only see the car park & back of houses.
The breakfast was delicious 🥰 definitely my highlight oh and the view of the place, especially the waves at the beach 🏝️ was a beautiful scenery. My kids favourite was the pools

I loved the different food and drink venue options. The bar has fantastic views and the meals were delicious. The property itself is spacious and visually appealing.

AustraliaAlthough a beautiful location, the reef in front of the resort is not sheltered. there is hardly a chance to snorkel or swim in the ocean if the weather is not perfect. We had a garden view room with a connection door to the other room, which was closed off with wood. We could hear everything what happened next door, not very enjoyable, specially with active neighbour’s. The white towels although they smelled fresh and washed, where badly stained. As this is not exactly a cheap room, I expected more and was rather disappointed.
Although very isolated, It’s a beautiful location. If you’re not the relaxing kind, a car to explore the island is a must. The garden view room was large and clean, but furnished badly without style, more like a motel room and not a resort. Large balcony :) which was nice, only 2 chairs for a room with 3 beds.

New ZealandOne of the front reception staff was extremely rude when we checked in which didn’t get our stay off to a good start. Towels in our room looked like they had bleach stains on them and were not suitable for paying guests. Food was pretty average. Tours were pretty expensive.
Apart from front reception staff the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fairly clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the daily newsletter. Loved the gold class cinema night.

New ZealandThe resort is fairly expensive, particularly food and drinks. I don't agree with the banning of fins while snorkelling to protect the coral. In my opinion, using fins stopped me from touching the coral when currents took me close, so I used them.
The resort is lovely. We had an upstairs garden room with lovely views. There is plenty of entertainment, and the Wednesday evening singing and dancing show is not to be missed! Karaoke night was fun! Snorkelling in front of the resort is fine but limited. It is very close to the Giant Clams where you can see turtles and the huge clams. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The inclusive breakfast is adequate. The cleanliness and staff are great.

New ZealandOur room (407 garden view) felt like it wasn’t really part of the resort and there were no maps or room numbers pointing you in the correct location. On arrival in the room, it smelt like bleach had been poured all over the floor. The room had not been aired out to mitigate this smell. We left the windows open over night but the smell was still there in the morning and we woke up with headaches from the horrific smell of bleach. Walking down the footpath, too and from the room had a smell like sewage or chicken poo that almost made you vomit. My wife is gluten free and some of the stuff acted like that was just an issue and were reluctant to assist. In saying that, not all stuff were like that, some were very helpful and nice.
Location is close to the giant clam sanctuary. Has huge potential and the rooms in the nicer area of the resort looked good.
