The verandahs and surrounds needed work. The breakfast could have had a better. Small variety of fruit was the same every day.

Room was comfortable. The pool area was a nice place for our group to gather. The restaurant served nice food at a reasonable price and the chef and staff were very good.

We liked everything, breakfast was great and plentiful, it was a great start to our adventure and to get some ideas about the place, culture and things to do. The Melanesian have their own travel center to help your planning. Thank you for your hospitality.

The breakfast was a bit underwhelming. A few more loungers by the pool would be good for the rooms that don’t sit on it directly.

The location was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly.

Staff needed a lot of prompting to give information about transport /trips etc. Being charged 5 nights instead of just 4(plane got canceled)-could have been a bit more customer friendly.

Central but unfortunately not much happening in the centre since the earthquake. Easy to catch the local bus.

Not much happening in the pool area. The hotel felt a little rundown overall and over priced.

Some parts of the hotel are pretty tired but they were doing some improvement works while we were there, so I’m sure that will help.

It’s a very relaxed place. It is clean and has everything you need. Staff are friendly. Kids loved the pool and the bar is really convenient for drinks and food. Breakfast was decent too with lots of fresh fruit, bread, cereals and a small amount of hot food. Really enjoyed the Sunday night cultural show and buffet – would definitely recommend booking in for this. The location is excellent. Walkable to markets,  local restaurants, supermarket and Iririki Island jetty (if you’d like to spend a day there for beach and snorkelling). Also, a short bus ride to restaurants, markets and tourist attractions further afield. Hotel is on a main road (but not noisy at all), so hailing the local buses was super easy (the ‘buses’ are ridden with other passengers but are essentially private vans where you offer around 100-150 vatu per person - more for longer trips). A quick recommendation for the family fire show at Banyan Bar (about 2kms away) on Saturday nights from 7pm – great atmosphere, food and drinks.

Our room was spacious and very clean, and the staff are warm and very friendly. Pool area is lovely. The restaurant Casa Mia very good for breakfast and dinner. Great location within walking distance to town.

There is no lift in the hotel and all of the rooms are up 1 flight of stairs which is hard with suitcases

Little useful info from the staff, just heavy selling of their overpriced tours and taxis. The food was below international standards and very expensive. No gluten-free options, and very average breakfast options.

The room was not adequately lit. I wish also that the internet codes didn't have to expire after every 24 hours. The room needed to be cleaned by default daily and not only at the request of the guest - that is standard practice in hotels.

Hotel was very family friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant during breakfast was superb. The room was very spacious. The Sunday evening buffet with the cultural music performance lit up the atmosphere. The buffet food was delicious. Vanuatu beef is the best.

Just a few little things to make the stay better. - Put Milk in the fridge to have with tea / coffee. - Put Tissues in the bathroom.

Arrived early and despite the fact that check out is at 10am. I had to wait from 10:30am till 2:30pm for a room.

I like to swim in the pool for exercise and was asked to stop due to an "interview" the other day. I think they should be more concerned about paying customers.

Staff is excellent. Food unbelievably delicious at Casa Mia. Great breakfast.
