Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Lovely owners, helped us on numerous occasions such as motorbike rental and were very kind people. They gave us fresh towels and made our bed everyday, and the room was very clean. Also a very quiet stay which was a nice change.

United StatesI get up early thanks to the chickens. This might be an issue for some people.
You get a daily breakfast, drink, and fruit included with your room. The property is away from the old town, but they provide sturdy bikes. They even cleaned my room and gave me a fresh towel every day. If you don't want to carry your things or walk, the lift is so nice to have.

United KingdomNothing!
The Homestay is run by a lovely family who are very friendly and helpful. It's in a great and very quiet location but with shops and places to eat a couple of minutes walk away. All areas were kept spotlessly clean and the room was cleaned every day. Good choice fro breakfast and the best pancakes I've ever had in Vietnam! Also the best bikes which were great for cycling to the beach. They also have a brunch cafe with a good menu of healthy food and drinks. Breakfast is in a pretty garden area at the front. An added bonus, and surprise for a small homestay is an elevator!

United KingdomNothing.
A great choice. It is an easy and lovely walk along the river into the Old Town. The area around it is peaceful but has plenty to offer. The accommodation is family run, and they are lovely. The price includes a breakfast which I really enjoyed. They also arranged a taxi to take me to the airport for a reasonable price. I can also recommend the restaurant that is attached to.ths property.

VietnamGreat villa! Spacious, clean rooms with lots of greenery around. It could be a little noisy sometimes. Good basic breakfast with eggs and fruits. Free bikes made it easy to explore the city, and there’s a grocery store nearby. The owner and his family are such pleasant and kind people. Overall, felt like home—would definitely stay again!

PhilippinesNothing really
The location is very convenient - there is a resto next door and several other restos and coffee shops around the homestay. A supermarket is just several houses away. You could walk into the Hoi An river and market (1.3km away) in the evenings. The homestay is super clean. The room assigned to us (201) has a lovely little balcony overlooking the garden which is a very nice reading nook in the morning. The property itself is quiet which is a good place if you want to have a quiet , relaxing holiday. They have a lift (surprisingly, for a small homestay!) which makes bringing heavy bags upstairs easy. They provide free use of bicycles if you want to use it going to the town proper which is a kilometer away. Otherwise, a motorcycle can be rented for 150,000 dong for the whole day. Free breakfast has limited and same options everyday (toast, egg and coffee basically) but for the price of the homestay, it's already okay. You can have avocado toast for a dollar which is highly recommended. The towels are changed daily and the rooms are cleaned daily even if you don't ask them to. Laundry is for a fee and can be done in a day. Best homestay in Hoi An and I'll be staying again next time I come.

The breakfast is very good as well, with eggs and pancakes to choose from. It come also with a plate with fruit. They have bikes that you can use for free. The room was big, bright and clean, with a fridge and even Netflix! Also with a balcony where I had my breakfast in the morning! I loved it. Thank you very much❤️

United StatesThe single room had little option to hang your clothes. Hand soap would have been good.
Very nice owner and staff. Very helpful when my credit card had fraudulent charges so I had to contact Visa. Nice breakfast. You are away from the crowds in the old city, but you can use one of their bikes. The owner helped adjust the bicycle seat. It is quiet and the roosters wake you up.

United KingdomVery pleased with everything, the only minor thing would be the sink, was blocked (water was draining slowly) but I highlighted it when I left and they said will fix it.
Really enjoyed my stay here, had a single room all to myself (a treat after staying in hostels for most of my trip) and was great value for money, all clean, comfy bed, breakfast included - loved their Mi Quang - and served on the beautiful terrace outside, the hosts are friendly. I ended up extending my stay by one night and glad I did. Location hit the spot for me, a bit more local vibe (I didn't want to be smack in the centre/old town) and you can use the free bicycles to make your way into town, which is a pleasant 10-15mins ride away (depending on your speed), 30mins ride to An Bang beach. I'd stay here again.

NetherlandsGreat stay away from the hustle and bustle of the center but close enough to go around town with the free bikes this homestay provides. VietnamThe pictures of the room showed a light beside the bed. There was only one big light with a switch by the bed and it was quite bright.
I loved the pool and the view from the balcony. The bed was super comfortable with the best pillows. There were soooo many plugs in the room! The breakfast was simple and tasty, with fresh fruit. I asked to get some laundry done in the late afternoon, just after I arrived, and I was so greatful that it was by my door, the next morning. The restaurant next door is fabulous not to be missed. I ordered a car to take me to the airport. They organised it for 1pm and it arrived bang on time

AustraliaEverything was great. I booked about 6 months in advance and they had forgotten about my booking but luckily our room became available. I would recommend sending them a message a few days in advance just to double check that everything is good.
This place was fantastic. The pool is big enough and is a great place to refresh after a day exploring Hoi An. The family that run the homestay are lovely. We had a family room with two queen beds and they were very comfortable. The fridge was a good size and worked well. The shower and bathroom were very clean and in good condition. The aircon was nice and cold and worked well. The family gave us a birthday cake for our daughter which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was outstanding.and the coffee helped start the day. The restaurant next door is owned by another family member and the food there is excellent. There is a Vinmart about 50 metres away. We used the pushbikes and they were in good condition and both had child seats on the back. We would stay here again and I will recommend it to friends.
