Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Our best hotel experience in the whole of Vietnam. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the breakfast (included in our room price) was delicious. The hotel is a little further out from the old town but we enjoyed this as the area was quieter. In addition the free bikes provided by the hotel made it very easy to get to both the old town and the beach. Most of all what really made our stay memorable and comfortable were the incredibly kind, attentive and helpful staff who work there.

Czech RepublicNice and clean place with friendly staff. Area is slightly further from the city center, but we appreciate that cause it was way more calm. You can rent bicycle for free from the reception. Breakfast offer was nice.

IndiaWell maintained property with good ambience. However, we didn’t get the rooms as shown in the photos. Overall the stay was very good. But photos in booking.com looks overwhelming than actual. Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Bicycles are provided free of cost although the quality of cycles are average. Ancient town is around 2kms from the Villa and accessible via Grab or bicycle (for free).

United KingdomNothing. It was great. Some people might prefer to be closer to beach or town but being on a lovely quiet street away from it all really suited us.
We loved the location- great being close to the ancient town but still easily accessible to the beach. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The pool was a bonus after a day of sight seeing but we didn’t use it much, it was quite cold. Free cycle hire was amazing and we spent our days cycling to the beach at A Bang- 10/15 mins away or to the ancient town- 5/10 min on a bike. We booked a fab cooking tour through the hotel too and they also organised airport pick up and a taxi to the train at the end of our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again but would probably choose one of the rooms at the front with a balcony. We just had an internal balcony which didn’t give any privacy.

United KingdomAbsolutely stunning place. The rooms are so modern and clean, there’s a variety of options to choose for breakfast, and it’s a great location on a quiet street but only 5 minute drive into town. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they booked us onto a coconut boat tour and cooking class and helped arrange airport taxis at 2am. Would love to stay here again.

IrelandWe had such a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was really nice and spacious and really clean. The ladies at reception were lovely and helpful. We got breakfast and used the laundry service and I would recommend. There were free bikes to hire to cycle to the beach or the ancient town. It was away from the madness of the ancient town but only about a 30 minute walk so it was fine.

United KingdomThe hotel was a little noisy early in the morning (before 7am) and in the evening if you’re a light sleeper. Walls are quite thin so you can hear guests next door to you.
The rooms were so spacious and clean! Lovely big bed, comfy cushions and a smart tv. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before from a fairly large menu - which was all delicious!

The staff were very nice and helped with a transfer. There are bikes so you are able to get around easily, just make sure you choose one with good brakes. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Breakfast was ok.

AustraliaNothing! If I had to be picky I’d say the water pressure is a bit hit and miss and the matttress could be more plush but beds are always firm in SE Asia.
A beautiful little hotel right located equal distance between Ha Noi old town and An Bang beach. The street is quiet and has a local vibe with beauitful lanterns that give it charm. The hotel is very clean and fresh, friendly and great value. Tien at reception was truly a delight!

SingaporeUnfortunately, during our stay we had 2 lizards that fell out of nowhere, however, by no means is it compromising in its cleanliness. I feel like it was inevitable as the villa is like a house, so i guess it was bound to have lizards. But the staff came to our rescue super timely!! so that was good :)
I really liked that the villa was clean and the staff were readily available for us. Since 3 of us shared one room, there was still sufficient space for us to open up our luggage and hang around to chill. They also provided bicycles and huge umbrellas during our stay there. But we chose to take the grab because it was raining :(, the grab to the old town is super affordable that usually around SGD$1, therefore, the location is still good!

MalaysiaA car was very kindly offered to pick us up from DaNang, although be careful because I didn't realise that the cost was in USD not VND. Therefore, it cost more than I had expected. Some shops also use USD so do check before spending.
A small but beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and modern and they were able to accommodate us with early check in (for a fee). The receptionist was very friendly offering advice on tours and asked us daily for our breakfast choices for the following day. The hotel was away from the old town, but easy enough to get to by Grab. Being further away meant that we could use the bikes provided along the quiet paddy fields instead of busy roads.

FranceThe property had great location about 20min by foot from Hoi An’s old town and 15min by bike (which the hotel provided for free) from the beach. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff was nice and welcoming and also very helpful as they assisted us when booking some tours and activities around Hoi An. I gladly recommend this hotel !

very pretty hotel with helpful staff, the pool was clean and working. They lend out bicycles for free - but make sure you choose a working one before heading off - my gf fell of the bike since it was broken. When we came back to the hotel to change the bike , the staff was very apologetic and helped us cover the wounds. They also helped us book the coconut tour and then a car the same day because we decided to leave early. The breakfast was nice, you can choose from a menu to order the main meal but there was also a small buffet with some bread and fruits and drinks to choose from. Room was clean, bathrooms too - we did find a small gecko in the bathroom but that was expected since the hotel is closer to the nature.

New ZealandRooms were a little dusty in places and the location was slightly out of the way from the main city but still not far enough to complain about (only a twenty min walk) just means you can’t easily pop back to hotel once in the city
The service was incredible super accomodating, always had a hello and asked what we were doing for the day when we walked by the reception and super helpful arranging transport for us. The price for what you get is amazing you can’t complain. Pool was amazing too
