Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicBeautiful huge villa, very well equiped, big private pool. The sea is just a few steps and the beach is beautiful. Delicious breakfast.

QatarOn day 1, they served us breakfast at the villa (we were asked to do so as their restaurant was busy). After the breakfast, we left for Bana Hills. When we came back in the evening - to our surprise - the breakfast things (food) were still lying around in the kitchen, on the dining table and on coffee table. They had cleaned the villa but did not clean the leftover food. This happened again on day 3. Somewhere we felt the staff lacked proper training to work in hospitality industry (especially when you compare the services which you get in Thailand, Bali, Langkawi, Maldives and other beach destinations).
We booked the six bedroom villa on the beach. The villa and the pool are stunning. The beach is nice too but the water was choppy. Staff is friendly but we had issues with housekeeping.

United StatesThere was a small amount of humidity damage in the first floor powder room otherwise the villa was clean and comfortable.
Very convenient location between Da Nang and Hoi An. The villa we had was 4 bedrooms and was beautiful and spacious. There was a small amount of humidity damage in the first floor powder room otherwise the villa was clean and comfortable. The villa also has its own beachfront access and the addition of the pool is nice. What really makes the place special though is the staff. The staff is very attentive and willing to help with any needs we had. They definitely went above and beyond on multiple occasions without even asking. Next time, we plan on reserving their beachfront villas for sure.

United StatesLike much of Asia, sewer infrastructure can be spotty. Dont be surprised if there’s a faint sewer smell that sometimes permeates throughout the villa. turn on the plug-in air fresheners and the smell will disappear. this is SE Asia and these smells are commonplace. Go to a Hilton if you want a sterile experience.
Do Quy and Ms Nguyen were exceptional concierges. They and their team provided our family with a memorable vacation that will be hard to surpass. We chose The Five arbitrarily for a last minute New Years holiday. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Our 3-story Villa was luxurious and had more than enough room for our family of four. We loved the local artisans’ artwork and handicrafts displayed throughout the residence. The appointments rivaled any global luxury chain. And unlike a soulless, commoditized chain experience, The Five offered quiet and peace. We were not surrounded by teems of loud families or vapid tourists eager to flaunt their economic status on their wrists or necklines, as are immediately seen in any Marriott or Hilton resort. The breakfast experience was only topped by our private New Year’s chefs course dinner cooked on our patio. Wow! The hotel’s private beach is beautiful. But perhaps most important is the hotel’s location (half way between Hoi An and Da Nang) which makes it easy to visit and enjoy the local sites. Thank you again to the staff at The Five for an incredible experience!

Hong KongThe swimming pool of the 4-bedroom villa is quite small. Also we were assigned to the villa right next to the reception and car park, meaning cars are parked right next to the pool… not ideal if you want a holiday with a bit of clean air and privacy. We were told on email that access to the playroom at the hotel next door is possible. However, no one mentioned about the restriction on high season. So it was a bit unexpected.
The villa is clean and very close to the beach. BBQ dinner was very good! It has baby cot and high chair for young kids which is also something we like.

Hong KongHuge noise from the construction site next to the resort
Super helpful and friendly resort staff, including the kitchen chef in the egg/noodles station at breakfast, the buggy driver who helped carry our luggage to/from villa and delivered our heavy boxes of water from Grab groceries, the male duty manager with glasses (sorry I lost his name) who helped us with everything, and the BBQ crew (both with glasses). BBQ in villa was a big surprise, much better than what we expected. Good atmosphere with the light setting, and the crew spent great effort to make sure we were well taken care of. Lots of dragonflies to keep the entire resort free of mosquitoes.
