We loved staying here! The bungalows have everything you need; a comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and even your own washing machine! The pool and garden were lovely and our hosts were very helpful and made us feel at home. The nearest beach is only about 15mins walk away and it is very quiet and unspoiled. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

Very peaceful and relaxing stay! The bungalow was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with the nature/plants inside. The kitchen was well equipped and bonus to have a washing machine. Bed was comfortable. Jewel and family were friendly. Jewel is lovely, was very helpful and provided recommendations. Made us feel very welcome. The garden and nature is nice and relaxing. The pool is clean. The homestay is 10/15 minutes walk away from amazing quiet beach and not far from many restaurants. The puppy, cats and dog were a bonus!

Comfort is the only thing we were missing. The bed was great but apart from that, if you wanted ti relax in the evening on your porch for a few hours, the chairs were uncomfortable. Perhaps some proper bum and back cushions would do the trick 🙂

The property is great. We had the end bungalow which gave us privacy. The kitchen was great, exactly what we needed and the pool refreshing!

The garden is beautiful and quiet and the hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a well-equipped and spacious kitchen. The bathroom has a nice feature: a little garden right within :-) The bedding is very comfortable, with a great mattress and linens made of natural fabric.

Although these were not big issues for us, it is good to be aware of some things. The bungalows are a bit far from the beach and the town, and the road is dark in the evening. However, it is easy to get around by scooter (you can rent one from the property, they also have bicycles) and the quiet neighborhood felt very safe. During our stay, there were a few electricity outbreaks, which they said are relatively common in this area (during the longer maintenance breaks they run a generator for basic needs). Bungalows are not cleaned daily, so it would be great to have a place outdoors to wash your sandy feet after a beach day.

Very high value for money for those who appreciate a quiet, peaceful, and green environment. The bungalows were basic but spacious and clean, surrounded by a lovely garden. The pool area was super nice for a relaxed morning or a refreshing afternoon dip. The bungalow had a well-equipped kitchen, the bed was super comfy, and the open-air bathroom was nice. This is a small family-run place and they were very friendly and helpful. We also made friends with their lovely pup and cats.

Very clean, well-kept facility. A nice garden full of flowers. Clean pool with cool water. Very polite and outgoing owner. Clean and functional bungalows. Equipped with a gas cooker, washing machine, fridge. You can borrow a scooter on site. A quiet place and away from noise. A bit far from the sea, but other amenities make up for it. Nice cats of the owners on site. Great price-quality ratio. In the evening, you can only hear the sound of crickets. A very charming place

    Nope

Highly recommended to people who love nature, wanna enjoy privacy and escape from noise. Nice and very quiet place. The small homestay with everything neat and clean. The bungalow is quite spacious. I love the terrace and the bathroom, althought the kitchen and laundry machine are a bonus. I stayed 1 night and then extended to 5 days. Trang, the host, always willing to clarify any infomation I need. I could pick up coconuts by myself and made my own drink, the host is so hospitable. The bungalows are near Ong Lang big long beach, which is totally deserted beach. I could spends hours there to enjoy nature, especially the sunset. There is another beach with more tourists and restaurants. Everything is in some minutes walking.

Phu Quoc itself is very spread out, so to get around, you pretty much need to rent a motorbike or other methods. The closest strip by the accomodation is about a 15 mins walk, and most of the restaurant are designed and priced for tourists. To get the local restaurants, one will have to go further than this strip aka motorbike out of there. I think that's just the nature of Phu Quoc, not really a bad thing about this particular location. Sometimes the AC didn't work super well, we found the best way is just to open the window and bathroom door, turn the fan on and let the cool night air flow through. We got good sleeps through the night once we figured that out. The neighbors love karaoke, we could hear it from our room but they never go too late at night.

Trang, the host, is very friendly, kind and sweet. The bungalow is very spacious, has a private kitchen, and private outdoor bathroom with a washer in it. Although detergent wasn't included, Trang gave us some for free so we wouldn't have to buy a big bag. The room also had a mosquito net that goes over the bed or a mosquito lamp if the bugs are bad. The courtyard was very pretty and full of beautiful plants. Trang also rents out motorbikes for a very reasonable rate. There's a very nice quiet beach that's about 10-15 min walk.

The dogs were quite aggressive as they had puppies.

One of the few places that is better than the photos. Spacious room and kitchen, the owners are very helpful and some nice restaurants in the area. The private washing machine was a bonus!

Nothing! Just to note, the property is a bit far from the main road. But as long as you have a motorbike you’ll be fine. Also, unfortunately post Covid they no longer provide bicycles!

The bungalow was perfect, it felt like home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make a homemade meal. The AC worked well and the half outdoor shower is a nice touch. What really made our stay was the staff! So gracious & hospitable. If we find ourselves in Phu Quoc we will definitely stay again!

Not hostess fault, but neighbors have pretty aggressive dogs. They don't bite, but barks a lot

    1) Very quiet place, except for neighbors dogs - barks every time we pass near them 2) Nice pool, not many guests use it so much likely you will be alone there 3) Cute cats (newborn kittens!!) and dogs who walk around the place and catch any bugs and other uninvited guests, no cockroaches or anything like that, I believe it's cats work. 4) Not far from Vinbus (green one) that is free and roams from north to south of the island - easy to go very beautiful Italian-alike towns 5) Near from the Ong Lang beach, that is almost deserted - we didn't see a single person there, but it's quite dirty. We prefer civilized beach that is also not far away from here (we walked without any transport) 6) In general, this place doesn't require any bike/car rental because it is close to: - bus stop (Italian-alike towns, Phu Quoc town and airport) that is free - restaurants - beach 7) Different reviews mentioned "smell from sewers" - nothing like it. The smell is perfectly fine.

Great value deal, yet not really Boutique

Staying in the bungalow turned out to be a great budget option. We booked it at a discount (or so it said on Booking), and it very much offered good value for the money. That said, I personally found the term "Boutique" in in its name in combination with the very high rating a bit misleading based on my expectations. The bungalow was functional but lacked a bit charm. The interior felt a bit stale, and wasn’t particularly cozy for us. The wardrobe doors were slanted and didn’t close properly, and the cleanliness, while its been overall clean (bed, toilet etc), left something to be desired. There were small shells of insect and webs on the walls. While I understand that it’s essentially the jungle outside, it was something that stood out to me. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust—I wasn’t able to get it to work properly during our stay. The kitchen supplies were very basic, which was fine. As is common in many rural areas of Vietnam, there were a lot of dogs on the small paths and in front of houses. During the day, they lounged in the sun, but after sundown, they became more alert and barked at you. Coming back to the bungalow at night, I was glad we had a scooter to get past them quickly, as walking by in the dark would have made me uncomfortable—it’s just not something I’m used to where I come from. Given the reviews and the "Boutique" label, we had expected something different. But for the price point its been a very good deal overall, when you know what to expect. :)

The area is green and quiet, located about 25–30 minutes by scooter from the busy town in the south. The nearby public beach was very close, especially convenient with a scooter, and had very few people during our stay (late January). Like most Vietnamese beaches, we did notice some trash, but there are still plenty of lovely spots to enjoy. Being able to get there quickly from our homestay was a big plus. We enjoyed the location very much. There’s also a cozy resort restaurant at the beach with an amazing terrasse view, which is open to external guests. Recommend to check it out. The host was very accommodating and always ready to help with any questions we had. The pool was enjoyable, and the bed was equipped with a large mosquito net. The whole complex has charme and the bungalows fit in nicely with their looks.
