The location of the hotel was fantastic in the old quarter and within easy walking distance of great eating places. Hana organized all of our activities and was always available to help - Hana made Hanoi a joy for us I recommend her to everyone - she was brilliant!

The only window in the room faced an internal courtyard, which didn’t have any natural light coming through. So really, the window was pointless / it could have easily been a room with no window. It’s minor, but it just meant the room was constantly dark.

I have stayed in dozens of Hotels in Hanoi SQ Hotel is one of our favorites, it was closed for a long time to smarten it up ,being a builder I'm not going to say renovate Who in the world on their design team thinks that putting a Bath / Shower Combo would be a good idea .this hotel is probablyt the worst now that it has been renovated Older people or young children would find it difficult to get in and out of this stupid bath/shower combo They have included a foot stool to make it easier to get into the Bath to have a shower When I went to exit the Bath I put my weight on the edge of the bath ,not a good idea ,nearly tipped right over, The Bath is not fixed to the floor Water goes everywhere when using the shower Toilet paper gets wet everytime, there is a pool of water on the floor until the cleaning crew comes The floor Matt is always soaked with water This is an easy fix ,pull the Bath out and put a glass screen in ,it doesn't need a door This was one of their larger rooms ,the time before we stayed in the family room, same thing 1 sheet of glass would solve the water issue and less time it takes to mop up the water Also my wife noticed that the floor was not swept PRoperly for 3 days The Hotel is in a top spot and the staff are great

The staff let us pay for 1/2 a day extra as we were flying home late but we could only keep the upgraded room ! Out of our three rooms so more expensive!!! They also did not warn us that the old quarters where their hotel was located was being shut to all traffic that afternoon for the independence parade practice so we had a nightmare getting a taxi with all our luggage to the airport!! Very poor customer service. Not impressed.

Great location and very clean with lovely small pool on roof . Definitely our favourite hotel in Hanoi .

The bathtub doesn’t have a shower curtain so water splashed.

My daughters extra bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Pool is very small. We used the massage in the basement. One lady hurt my husband's shoulder. Other lady was really good. On other day my daughter wanted nails done. Girl was wonderfull and did good job. While waiting I was talked into foot massage. I give tip of more than 10% and lady complained it was not enough (and she was not that good) I am not sure but i think it was the same lady who hurt my husband because she also ended my foot massage with some painfull hits in my neck (it was so hard that my daughter sitting next to me, said it was very loud). The other girl was lovely and very good.

Great location near Old Town, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Guys at door were very attentive, giving out umbrellas when it rained.

The bathtub should be nailed into the ground and have grab bars around for safety. I almost fell when I sat on the edge of the tub and tipped it a bit. Also, needs a shower curtain as the floor would always flood when I took a shower. The gym would be so much better with a few free weights - even some dumbbells would be good.

The staff were the best - the doormen always prompt to help carry bags up the stairs, always smiling, reception and Hana always warm and helpful. Location excellent, and room big and comfortable. Loved that I could control the aircon temperature, and plenty of hooks in the bathroom.

One of our beds had a red stain on blanket and some fallen eyelashes. On the day of check-in. We told the receptionists about this and luckily it got replaced. But I recommend to check up on first night.

Very friendly staff and very good location. Hotel is located in the center of Hanoi. The hotel also arranged pickup transfers for us from the airport. Not to forget that they arranged a transfer to Ha Long aswell. I recommend travellers to book this hotel.

Very comfortable, great location right in the heart of Hanoi. Loved the beds, soaking in the bath, having a swim and being very well looked after by all the friendly staff. Cannot fault it!

Very minor things - no smart tv, wouldn’t give us extra blanket for each room because of blanket limitation.

The staff were wonderful and helpful. Location is close to everything, but not inside the mayhem of the night market.

It was perfect!

The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable, big tv with Netflix on as well! Staff were super friendly and helped us loads with transport. Driver was super friendly and waited for us when we had an issue with the baggage. Breakfast is lovely and fresh and the pool was an added bonus!

The shower/tub was a bit high. I felt uncomfortable getting in and out each day.
