This is not a negative, it is more of a watch out. The hotel is in a development that is basically a ghost town. It’s fascinating walking though faux European style boulevards in Vietnam, but there is nothing close for food or entertainment. This was not a problem for us as it was just a pit stop and we knew exactly what we were booking.

The property is great, it is clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed after a long night bus from Ha Giang. The staff were great and even let us in at 4am so we could get some rest. Breakfast is also available at a small price and it is nice.

We loved absolutely EVERYTHING about our stay in this hotel! The landlady was wonderful, always helped us, and was very welcoming. We loved classic, japanise style. Rooms were very clean and had everything we could ask for. During our stay in the hotel, we had many options available, such as: ordering a breakfast and having the room cleaned. The hotel also had options to book a trip to Hạ Long and renting a limusine to take us back to Hanoi, and the prices were really good (definitely cheaper than booking attractions through the internet). Overall, we were very satisfied with our time there and are looking forward to staying there when we are back in Hạ Long.

The room was very clean, which made it very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was also good, close to harbour (20 minutes by car). Overall, a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful, stunning spacious room and totally spotless. Hang and Khanh Phuong were so friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us book a fabulous cruise around Ha Long Bay. 5 minutes walk to the stunning beach and we used Grab to take us to restaurants close by. We were there just after Typhoon Yagi and there was a lot of destruction in the outer area but this did not impact on the area by the hotel. The check in was really quick, room was spacious and clean. We were 3 guests and only had 2 sets of towels prepared, but we asked for 1 more and got it immediately. Check out was fast as well. The owners were nice and helpful people.

There were a couple cockroaches we had to kill and it was a little out of town, but apart from that, nothing to complain about.

Beautiful hotel run by a lovely and welcoming family. They were so kind and understanding when we requested to switch rooms because of the beach party happening across the island. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean and the general aesthetic was fabulous for what you pay for.
