How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We only stayed few hours to get the train..place it was good for what we needed..just got an average rating for the fish tank..needs some greenery and bit less fish

If you open the window you could hear the train. But it was ok for me
Very Nice and convenient hôtel. Room was as described clean and people were nice. The quarter is with local people, which is better than tourists place The is a small super market close to it I recommend this hotel

Netflix didnt work
A nice and clean hotel, located 5 minutes outside the center of Ninh Binh. The room was a good size and had what we needed. Friendly staff.

A minor thing, The location is decent and we were quite happy but it is a but of a walk to the main waterfront area. Would still 100% recommend the Queen Hotel. Grabs are cheap.
The facility is recently renovated and very clean. There is are a couple great restaurants near by and a mini market for supplies too. The location was quiet and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable!

The staff is really kind and professional. The structure were recently constructed and the rooms have a sober elegance, like the main hall. Very nice hotel. Comfortable stay.

The location was advertised as 250m from the train station, it was near the old train station which is now closed. We only stayed for several hours so we could walk to the overnight train fresh. Ended up having to leave early to make sure we arrived on time and take two cabs to the new train station. The advertisement and proximity to Ninh Binh Train station needs to be updated as it is misleading.

The area of Ninh Binh is not great for western food or as a base for tourism. The main tourist area is Tam Coc with many more options for food and tourism. However if that is not important the hotel is great value and the hosts are wonderful.
Wonderful clean quiet modern room. Staff were really lovely friendly and helpful. They even stayed up when we arrived unexpectedly at 3.45 am!

Showerhead pressure is a little too high.
The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The room is clean and well-equipped. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, convenient to go to almost every tourist attraction.

Beds were a bit on the hard side.
Great value for money, staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was ok, need to hire a scooter to get around or a grab. Most people stay in Tam Coc I believe.

Personal preference, but the beds were very hard. My partner and I woke up with sore necks and backs.
It was great value for money. I was expecting a very below average room but was pleasantly surprised. Its not the most luxurious but its reasonable for the price. The staff showed us a map and gave us suggestions on where to go which was helpful.

Location is not the best but there some food nearby. The bed feels ok for the price. I feel it not that comfortable but you pay what you get.
They let us in at 1am for checkin which great. The bed was OK. The staff was very nice and friendly and been very helpful.

Wi-Fi was weak on the 8th floor over the 3 days I stayed. Other reviews say Wi-Fi was strong, so I assume this may have been a temporary problem or because of my floors high location.
Very comfy and clean hotel. Modern feel and look. Very well priced. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Bit far from the centre
Really clean and comfortable modern rooms. Very reasonably priced. Staff were so helpful with booking transport and tours. You can rent a moped from them too. They also do laundry.
