Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.

We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe apartment is in a little alley and thus very quiet - a relief in bustling Hanoi 💝 WiFi and appliences worked perfectly. Many possibilities to shop and get food in walking distance (I recommend Pho Tron Ly - amazing rooftop garden and great Pho Tron, + EZ veggi Ban Mi & Bomo Matcha for good vegan food). The Guard and Homekeeper were so helpful! When we arrived, a big storm had just hit Hanoi - so our fridge was not working. When we plugged it in, sparks flew and the lights went out. We contacted the guard downstairs, who took a look at it and quickly arranged for us to get the Apartment above, where everything was working perfectly. Though it did not have a balcony, everything else was the same. On our 2nd night, we asked for an extension and were given a higher price per night due to it being the weekend. The Guard instructed me to book a cheaper room via the app, which I did. When we came down the next morning to switch rooms, there was a quick exchange between the owner on speakerphone, the Housekeeper, Guard, and us, after which we were told we could go back to the same room for the price we checked on booking. All of which to say: Many laughs, much patience on the side of the guard whom I conversed with via Google translate until all my questions were answered. A warm and safe place that met our needs forba break in a noisy city.

United StatesThe television, oven and refrigerator did not work. It took several hours to get a response and when I finally did, I was told they would be cared for the following day which was when I was to depart. The person who checked me in tried to extort another hundred from me. My laundry was washed and not dried.
The room is quite spacious. The neighborhood is quite nice.

VietnamThe location is absolutely perfect nestled right by West Lake, offering a peaceful atmosphere with stunning lake views from the balcony. The apt is beautifully designed, modern, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable short or long stay. I especially loved waking up to the gentle breeze and morning sunlight reflecting off the lake. The staff were exceptionally friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and seamless. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning soon!

Please stay away from this place, dirty, smelly, moldy. The door lock is damage, the curtains are old, dusty, and shabby. The TV couldn’t be used, the room has no microwave, the AC is damage, the refridgerator is moldy as if it has never been cleaned, the sofa is torn. Everything is not like the picture. Especially the attitude of the landlord is very bad, when i called, they never answer, when I called from another phone number, they said they no longer manage the facility, I tried to contact them directly is not possible. Please stay away from this place, especially room No. 501 is extremely bad, everything is broken, even the bed is broken and unstable, but they still let guests rent it. When I checked in at 11:30pm, I had no other choice, I didn't dare to shower and slept on sofa, because the whole room smelled of filth, the drain was clogged and the bathroom was flooded. Stay away from this place.
