One possible drawback, located across from the beach at one end of the strip the neighbouring plot of land is yet to be developed, so scruffy, which was a bit off-putting on first arrival, before I knew I was in fact entering such a good hotel. No doubt that land, being in a prime Da Nang location, is ripe for development soon I hope but, meantime, perhaps a little landscaping or development as a beer garden etc would help the optics. But do not let that deter you from enjoying a quite exceptional hotel.

After a lifetime of global travel for the oil industry the Nguyen Gia was simply one of the most impressive hotels I have ever stayed in. It is not flash and makes no pretence of being a Ritz, but whoever planned it clearly knew their business, their target market and economy range. As a four star hotel they have absolutely nailed it, it excels, the pool, the views and rooms, of varying size to suit most budgets have been very well thought out, offer every amenity you might hope for, and are made of quality fittings and workmanship. The cleanliness and eagerness to please by one and all was overwhelming, wherein lies the real reason I so enjoyed this hotel - the staff. They are genuinely a delight to know and (I am old and on crutches) keen to do everything possible to make my stay enjoyable and I was actually sad to leave such nice people I had grown fond of. For us was this not a problem, but if you are sensitive against traffic sound, dont choose the rooms with the ocean view.

Amazing hotel with a 2 minute walk to the beach across the stress. The location was perfect, in the heart of Da Nang but still not in the most crowded area. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were amazing and so heartwarming, the breakfast was top notch. If we visit Da Nang again we know where to stay.

the rooms offer a sea view, BUT please note that only the balcony rooms provide a full, front-facing view of the beach. If you book a sea view room without a balcony, the view is from the side, not directly facing the beach. I recommend future guests confirm this detail while booking if they specifically want a front-facing beach view from their room.

The hotel is located very close to the beach, which is peaceful and not too crowded.

The only things that weren't perfect is the location and the fact the TV turned on with music playing every time I went into my room and had to turn it off every time. The shower also leaked a bit into the toilet which was a little inconvenient.

The hotel was excellent! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a great view onto the seafront! The staff were super friendly and the breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. They even gave me a small birthday present of a fruit platter! Very professional and great attention to detail.

On the other side it is quite far from town center. Pool is not too useful/nice but not needed as sea is next.

Location might be a bit off of city center, but it gave great chill vibe close to the mountains. Choose the room with balcony for full sea view. The room without balcony has only a small window for sea view. In my opinion its worth the money to upgrade. The balcony room is breathtaking, the other one was only okay.
