Loud music was played from the pool at all hours which made it hard to relax and read a book during the day.

The pool area was great and the view from the room’s balcony very nice also.

Cleaning could be improved in room but was not a major issue for us. The lock on door was a bit sketchy but did lock!

The rooms were nice and big. Had a working tv and big balcony. The pools were great and had comfy sun beds. Location was good too- plenty restaurants and spas around. Also many tours near.

I wish they would replace wooden windows and doors with modern ones. Current are not closed properly so most of cool air from aircon wasted. So few times it was hot in room because of it. And when you try to close them sometimes they make load noise. Had problem with WiFi one time but hotel staff resolved it successfully.

I stayed for 2 weeks here. I like that hotel has 2 big swimming pools and you can take sun bath in the morning. I was working remotely while stay there and it was quite okay. Wi fi overall good quality.

Location of the room was really loud. Could hear every talk from people outside. Air conditioning was extremely loud. From the balcony I got a view cattycorner to the ocean, but the place below were really loud in the morning. The doors had a big gap to the ground, so a lot of animals like cockroaches, mosquitoes and lizards could come in. Was not that big problem because the room was on the 2nd. floor, but in a country like this it’s normal that you have a closing door. At least, no warm water, but cold showering was ok.

Big room with a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was quite nice with a really big shower. The hotel has a small nice pool and friendly staff. Location of the hotel is good, nice street with a lot of local asian restaurants.

Our deluxe double room with sea view was good although it had a budget look and feel, the small balcony was nice for morning coffee. The room and bathroom were both of a good size and delivered on the value for money front. In the room air conditioning, TV, small fridge, safe and an electric jug and 2 cups. The hotel has an on-site restaurant and bar, a couple of good sized swimmers pools a simple open air gym and good wifi. Water and breakfast are at your own cost, breakfast (d75,000) Check out the restaurants and small shops on the path back to the main road for cheaper breakfast options, beer and water supplies and at the bottom turn right we’re the 2nd restaurant along Golden Shell offers great food and beer at very reasonable prices.

We had to change rooms a few times so had to wait around for this, the first room had no power, the second had no fridge and was dirty then the last one was okay. There was a lot of drilling and work noise in the morning so this got us up too. There are better places to stay in this area.

There is a rat problem in the area and bins etc at entrance meant the rats were around the common areas of the property which made the stay unpleasant

The steep hill to walk up to the hotel via a busy laneway. The local beach was not so good compared to other beaches in the area and it had much rubbish.

Not really much night life in the area and the hotel ends the night very abruptly, also the fridge didn't work in our room which was a pain as it was so hot and really wanted to keep our drinks cold, also the drinks in the room aren't free so bear that in mind

Much of the backpacker and nightlife facilities were closed; the place felt like it could be amazing but just felt like all the energy had disappeared. Needs to reopen the backpacker bar and get some energy back into it!!!

Very basic room, uncomfortable bed and thin pillows. Drinks served round the pool were 3 times more expensive than the same drinks out of the minibar in the room! Room service every other day - had to ask for more toilet roll twice in our 4 night stay.

Swimming pool was nice and clean, nice music around the bar all day, very relaxing.
