They do not have a helper. Had to carry my luggage. However, thankfully they do have a lift. Also the breakfast was not up to the mark. The food was very oily. But the helpers at the breakfast did try to give us as many options that a vegetarian can have.

The location of the property is superb. No doubt about it being in the prime location. Everything is nearby and at a walkable distance. The staff was polite and good. They also helped me with the bookings for the Nin Binh one day tour.

Room is a bit underwhelming relative to the pictures. Plus, we were told that any drink outside the refrigerator is free but we were charged upon check out. It wasn't expensive but I would appreciate full transparency.

Very good location as the night market and the Old Quarter in general is very, very near the hotel. Breakfast was also really good.

The bed sheets and bathroom sink were clean, but lamps, bedframe and furniture a bit dusty, with old sigarette butts on a plant vase outside.

The room has a nice balcony with view of the lake, and the location is very close to touristic area. In the morning there is a nice light and the buzz of the old quarter fills the room.

All was excellent.

Breakfast was very good. The old lady prepping the breakfast (a solid variety) was super attentive and was a joy to have around. Food was excellent and so was the view from the rooftop area where breakfast was. Location of hotel is very very good and a stone throw from Hoan Kiem Lake. Room was big and clean. We did our laundry here and it was very affordable (it arrived the same night at the reception).

Darkness of the room, which could be altered just by painting white. Toilet seat used to slide around too, which we kept forgetting to mention to staff.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. No more than 50m to the lake, which we strolled around most days. Our room was a reasonable size, except only tiny window, too high to see out of. Because of the lack of light, and the fact it was painted dark brown, made it even more dark. We did ask for a different room but at the time there was not one available. The staff , especially julie, was really helpful when my husband was ill. Also with booking a trip to halong bay. Laundry service was good and competitive. Breakfast room has a great view over the lake and a reasonable selection. Fresh eggs and pho can be requested at the kitchen.

We had issue with our room with clogging shower drain. As we only checked in near midnight we didn't bother to complain. The photos also make the room seems more pleasant than it is, although it's mostly dated cosmetics and being picky.

Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful to make our stressful entry into the city much more manageable. It was also very centrally located. Breakfast was certainly aplenty for our preference and really enjoyed the rooftop area.

Breakfast quality average, it isn’t a deal breaker but there is room for improvement.

Fantastic location at the north end of the lake, in the Old Quarter - overlooking the lake from the room on the higher floor, overlooking Hang Hanh Street from the balcony of the lower level (I booked 1 night lower floor and 3 upper floor) - 1 minute walk to the lake - walking distance to the main sights (French quarter, Imperial Thanh Long Citadel, Temple of Literature, Train Street) - overlooking the New Year fireworks & countdown (photo attached). I like the firm very firm mattress (very traditional Vietnamese firmness, Westerner may not be so used to.but so much more supportive & better for your back). Friendly staff. Juli was fantastic in all enquiries and helped us organising a day trip and an overnight trip to Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay respective. The breakfast staff were friendly. Fast laundry service for 40K/kg (I dropped off at 6:30pm and got them 08:30am next day) Breakfast included.

Bit run down but does its job for such a good price

Location! Was perfect! Like 5/10 minute walk from everywhere you needed to be! The host Julie was incredible she was so so helpful for booking experiences and telling us the best food and massage places and overall being incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The whole place is a bit run down but you get that everywhere. Well worth the choice!

The pictures of the room on this website are nicer than reality Some mold in the bathroom.

Reception is open 24/7. Before we arrived, we already received whatsapp message from the staff about our check in time. We arrived in the night, the staff was very helpful with letting us know when our room is available so we can come in earlier. Its perfect location right in the centre, within 10 minutes walking you are at any touristic highlights. Good value for the price

AC had a faulty remote and chilled the room quite slowly. The bed mattress was pretty hard and wobbly. Breakfast is served cold, unless you come early

Hanoi Morning Hotel has wonderful staff! They offered great advice and were helpful every step of the way. The pho at the morning buffet was delicious! Props to the chef! The views from the rooftop overlooking the lake are breathtaking. I enjoyed drinking my Vietnamese coffee and eating pho every morning from the rooftop. Any questions I had, the staff was readily available 24/7. They even helped me book a tour to Ha Long Bay! I recommend this hotel for the location and the staff. The shower water pressure is excellent just be careful to slowly turn the water from cold first. They had Air Conditioning which worked great! This helped us sleep well at night. Since it is a historic building, do not expect any of the modern features that a modern hotel will have such as USB ports, international outlets, a “smart” tv, etc. Although, who travels to another country to stay in a hotel, right? Most of our time was spent outdoors exploring. For me, it was perfect because it was clean enough and the staff is incredibly friendly. We just needed a clean place to stay with a high pressure shower and a great location and that’s exactly what we got.
