Great location with the night market right outside but not noisy, the market was gone by 10pm. 2 minute stroll to the river with the Japanese bridge opposite. Beware the property doesn’t have an elevator, you can get a coffee from a local vendor just outside from 7am.

Tri, the owner of Moon Homestay, is the most helpful and considerate owner we have after being here in Vietnam for 8 weeks. I had a dental emergency on Christmas Eve, and Tri arranged the dental appointment for the next morning. He drove me there and stayed with me the whole time as the dentists English was not great. I had to have a crown replaced on my front tooth. He drove me back for the second appointment and again he stayed with me the whole time. Just a fantastic man. A thousand thank yous Tri !!!!!! We found it hard to communicate with the host as he wasn’t around when we needed him. A phone number or some type of contact would have been good if we needed to speak with you, especially when your not there. Also shower drain was very blocked

I liked everything.

I most especially liked the family that owns the property. They were welcoming and kind. The location was fantastic. I loved my room where I could sit on terrace and view the neighborhood activities by day and the night market at night. The property also offers massages and I enjoyed foot massages and full body massage.

As it is in the heart of the night market street, the morning it is very quiet, but night time it is very noisy and busy, so not suitable for those who want to have a early night rest.

The air conditioner seemed not cold enough during the very hot weather while we stayed, but they also provide a wall fan in the room to circulate the air. Otherwise everything was fine.

We rented 4 rooms attached with private bathrooms. Spacious room with balcony. Very comfortable bed to have our good sleep.

The AC didn't work at first until we checked with the host and found out they forgot to turn on the AC fuse for our room, but that really wasn't a big deal.

To say that it's "very close" to the night market is an understatement. The night market is set at the doorstep of this homestay. Don't worry about the noise though, because the market closes/disassembles at 10 PM, so it's not noisy at night. Location wise, the homestay is located on an island, 3 minutes walk from the old part of the town, where it's the liveliest in the evening. The staff are nice and friendly, and you can also rent bicycles (and maybe scooters) there.

No hand soap or hand towels, and no breakfast options, which is strange for a homestay.

The householders were super friendly and helped us out a lot. They showed us the places we should visit and even recommanded a good taylor. He also organised a taxi to the airport for us. Good thing about this homestay is its nice location. You are near the old japanese bridge, some good restaurants and you even have the nice market right infront of it. The rooms were nice too. Clean, big and with a balcony! Can highly recommand!

If you're looking for a serene place in the middle of nature, that's not the place for you. It can get quite noisy until quite late. I personally liked this kind of noise, that of a bustling market and not of heavy traffic, but it might deter some people.

The owner is very nice and sweet, the room was spacious and clean and I had a nice balcony overlooking the market.

It's located on the busy street of the night market so it's very noisy until late night. The first room had TV and Internet issues so they changed us to another room 2 days later. Staff are responsive to issues.

Not much. Was a decent place for the price given the location. The room has 2 flights of steep stairs. Not a problem for us, but could be with people with limited mobility. Should be called out. The electric kettle didn't work

The location was great. Right in the busiest street of Hoi An. The night market is on that road, so it's buzzing after evening. The room was spacious, bathroom and bedsheets clean. Owner was helpful too.
