Bathroom floor was slippery after a shower.

One of the best guesthouses I've stayed at in Vietnam. The room was absolutely wonderful, with a huge window providing a light, airy atmosphere. The furniture and fittings were tasteful - there was even a large REAL pot plant in the room. A good amount of storage space. Toiletries were sustainably packaged. Unlimited drinking water was provided in recycled glass bottles. The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - they.made me a delicious off-menu tofu banh mi because I'm vegan. Free bicycles - so convenient! The location was perfect: central, but on a quite lane. It exceeded my expectations.

The property was perfect! Location is great along with the room. The best bit however is the staff and the breakfast. Staff were so friendly and so kind, hoping to get back to Hoi An again in the future and will 100% be looking to stay here again.

The staff were so wonderful and incredibly friendly, always giving tips in where to go and what to do and on hand allday to assist with anything, breakfast was great. Room was great. Location was great. The free bikes were brilliant and i used one almost everyday and cycled around which was lovely. Definitely would stay here again!

The location of the place was in the Old Quarter so it was close to everything that you would want in Hoi An - restaurants, tailor shops, coffee shops, etc. It was also easy and walkable to explore the old quarter. The young woman who helped us check in and helped us during our stay was wonderful. The room was clean and was large enough for family of three. AC and wifi worked great.

Breakfast menu was was text the night before for your choice. Food was beautiful Vietnamese with coffee or juice. Friendly and helpful staff. Help with tickets to shows ,hire car transfers. Location was perfect a great fun city with plenty to experience

The room is spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed. Everything is very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very attentive and helped me with everything. Highly recommended.

Slightly limited breakfast choice if you don't want vietnamese.

Homely atmosphere. Room had everything we needed, air con and oscillating ceiling fan. U tube streaming television. Nice balcony and roof terrace. Family very friendly and polite. Vietnamese breakfast food was excellent. Nice to see water in glass bottles rather than single use plastic.

Mays House is an absolute treasure - located close to the old city and close to lots of amazing restaurants and cafes, the rooms were super clean and comfortable, breakfast was great & the staff went above and beyond to make you feel so welcome. They were so helpful and always had a smile on their face and ready for a chat! Rooftop terrace and laundry service were awesome bonuses :) Completely disagree with the review below, and simply can’t believe someone would think this.. ridiculous. Not my experience at all, and clearly not the experience of all the other reviews on here!

It’s a short distance walk to the Ancient City which is good, less noisy. Surrounding was convenient with local eateries, convenient shops, and cafes. I like the location as it’s convenient. Mr Hieu and team were extremely helpful, shared what is available and recommendations.

The air condition is quite cold and directly on the bed. The bed linen was not super clean but ok.

The room is very cozy, for breakfast there are a lot of possible choices (you have to choose one) and the location ia good both for the old town, the beach and most of the long-travel buses.

A brilliant little Homestay located around 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. It is run by a very sweet and friendly family who helped us with numerous things like booking theatre tickets, bus tickets, and recommendations for activities in Hoi An. Our room was really comfortable and spacious, and the AC works well and runs quiet. They provide toiletries for the bathroom which is always nice as well. The breakfast options are fairly simple but were perfectly adequate for us. Highly recommend as a great place to explore Hoi A from!

Amazing stay, everything as described and the hosts went above and beyond for us. We stayed a total of 5 nights and it was the perfect homestay to do a longer stay in. Bikes were available for free, we were able to leave our bags in when we had an early check in, there’s a lovely terrace on the top floor you can use and the hosts helped us with many excursions and day trips. Nothing we asked was ever a problem, would 1000% recommend!
