The location is perfect, down a quiet alley, very close to the Imperial city. The room was comfortable and very clean. The owner was very nice and helpful!

The house was a little tired around the edges - more so than the photos suggest. This wasn’t a problem for us though. The house is on a small backstreet and it was sometimes difficult to get in! It would benefit from a doorbell on the gate/front door.

It was really clean and well located to visit the imperial city. It was a true family homestay and it was lovely to have a home cooked authentic Vietnamese meal as part of our stay.

The hotel is in a nice location and close to the main attractions. It’s a comfortable hotel and very clean. The staff are really nice. I had to leave early in the morning and the owner made me a breakfast, it was very kind of him and I really appreciated! Overall a nice stay :)!

Big room overlooking a small lake, with lots of peace and quiet. Yet a a short walk to the citadel, the river, and in a vibrant, local part of Hue.

Right in the historical centre of Hue, we found this accommodation very homely and comfortable. The hosts provided us with a lovely home cooked meal too. Walking distance to all the attractions like imperial city, nice cafes etc.

Liked everything really. It's an older building but I liked that because it has real character.

Family run guesthouse. Very good location in the old city near the citadel. Lots of excellent food and drink options nearby. Situated in a peaceful, residential laneway so quiet at night. Large room, comfortable bed, hot water, good wifi. Very friendly owner. Stay two nights and enjoy a free home cooked dinner.

The hosts were incredibly helpful with recommendations for restaurants and sights, as well as with booking taxis for us. Our room was great, and we were very happy with the breakfast. The location is very convenient and we liked the neighbourhood. No complaints whatsoever!

The service from Duc & Quynh was outstanding. Quynh made a meal for all the guests on 2 evenings while we were there. After the first night they upgraded us to a better and larger room, though we had no complaints about the first room. On another occasion, we had difficulty getting a taxi to the meeting point for a walking tour. Duc called a friend who drove us there - just in time! Overall, we loved our stay there and highly recommend it.

Ideally located, in a small street with no car, 10mn walking distance from Imperial City. Room was big and quiet. Great breakfast included. Owner spoke some French. We rented scooters from the owner to visit the tombs outside Hue. Owner recommended great places for local food.

I think the shower facility could be better. Everything else was amazing.

We loved staying at the Maison Vu Tri Vien. We were so well looked after by the owner of the property. He was always ready to help and super quick to respond to any message. We had dinner there the first night, prepared by his wife, and it was so delicious and a great experience. It was like we were visiting a relative. Loved our stay there.

What a chance to stay in a real authentic Hue family home. The location is perfect, breakfast delicious. Duc gave us great advice and organised a driver for us. And we even got invited to a home-cooked dinner.

It’s a little out of the way from the more popular (tourist) parts of Hué. Interesting area though. If we were to come again, we would choose different rooms from the adjoining ones on the top floor. The others are much nicer.

Quiet, hidden away, beautiful old house with some lovely rooms and incredibly friendly, accommodating hosts. Quynh is a great cook and communicates really well. We felt very at home. The view from the balcony over the lake is fascinating.

Welcome, food, service, friendliness, spoke several languages. The family invited us to have dinner with other guests. There was no charge. Very good and original food.

We found nothing to complain about. Instead we found many rewards in staying in an authentic Vietnamese household and enjoying real Vietnamese hospitality so close to the Forbidden City.

A very healthy and satisfying breakfast of fresh fruit, omelete, coconut cakes, fresh bread rolls, tea and coffee, that was also generous and consistently good every day.

The temperature in the hallways of the house was very high (in the room it was ok thanks to the AC).
