What could be improved: - Going up via the stairs was a bit uncomfortable because they are narrow - The bathroom is connected to the sleeping room and was not very well drained - I feel the people here are more digital nomads rather backpackers. Less social than usual hostels

The sleeping space was much bigger and is more conveniently created. Ideal for when you travel with baggage. The locker was also very big. Bed & curtain was also nice. Felt more like a small 'room'. Good wifi.

The en-suite dorm bathroom is one of those with the shower integrated in the bath room, so toilet and floor get wet when showering so it depends a bit on your room mates how "chaotic" the bathroom is at times. but the cleaning staff cleans regularly. At night (probably also during the day but I was not in the room then) there are occasionally some loud noises from - not sure - pipes or drainage from other floors so could be an issue for light sleepers.

very comfortable beds with privacy curtains and good amount of space next to the bed to store belongings that you would like to keep in reach. Larger locker in the room. Good AC which is a requirement as it was 30 degrees ourside even at night. Great location ... just a few hundred meters from the beach and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, mini-markets, massage parlors etc The hostel is above a very popular vegan cafe... nice food and coffees/ ice tea... Prices more on the higher side though, but worth it. laundry service is good As pointed out in other reviews the hostel staff mainly work in the cafe downstairs so you need to explicitely approach them and ask them to "open" the hostel reception if you want to check in/ out, do laundry etc But they quickly do so when asked.

Bathroom is in the room, so it’s always wet as ppl shower in it too. But it’s quite convenient at night to use the toilet.

It’s social & easy to meet people, but quiet enough to have a good night sleep. I met a friend here who I hung out with for lunch & chats. I went away to Hoi A for a few days & went back to spend time with my new friend. The kitchen has a table that I could work on my laptop & 1st floor plenty of desks to work during the day if you like aircon. It’s not a hostel for typical backpackers who you’d meet in HoiAn, but perfect for digital nomads who’d like to stay for a while.

There are always so many people in the cafe which below the hostel, so if you want to get some working done, maybe you need to find somewhere else.

I had a great stay at Leaf Hostel! The staff were super friendly, helpful and always made me feel welcome. The hostel atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained. For the price, the quality and service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Leaf Hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the city. I will definitely be back!

Since the staff work at the restaurant they aren’t able to help with hostel activities or booking bus tickets much. But they are friendly and kind!

I really enjoyed my stay at Leaf Sustainable Hostel! It’s a great location, minutes from the beach and above a nice vegan cafe and surrounded by restaurants and massage shops. The rooms were some of the best I’ve ever stayed in with large lockers and great bed with privacy. It was easy to meet people and it had a chill but lovely atmosphere.

They almost lost my clothes when I gave it to them for laundry but they got it back one of the staff was sick but yeah. Also only one bathroom for 6 people makes it a bit inconvenient at times but it was fine for me

One of the most spacious hostels I have stayed in at Vietnam were more of mini rooms with ample place to put ur stuff on the side. Also great vegan cafe at the ground floor makes it convenient if you dont eat meat and dont enjoy local Vietnamese cuisine.

The address on Booking is wrong and doesn't appear on Grab. The restaurant downstairs, Roots Plant-Based.... has to be used to locate it which most people coming from the airport aren't going to know. It has to be fixed.

It's a great very well thought out and new facility. Having a window and a space on the side of the comfortable bed are uncommon but very welcome features. There's a kitchen and seating on 3 levels, very nice. The price is competitive with other similar hostels. The location is close to many bars, restaurants and the beach.

Air Con remains closed for some hours in the day when its really hot outside. no air condition or ventilation received when private curtains closed during sleeping hours. Bathrooms could be taken better care of, for the water clogging.

You can see mouse running around on the first floor near the cafe or shared areas on the second floor, which might be common in Vietnam. I will not suggest using the glasses in the shared area.

it's a super nice hostel. the bed is big with enough space to put your stuff aside. The bed and room are super clean. The staffs are very helpful. They have a nice vegan cafe downstairs where you can work or have healthy food there.

The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but if you navigate to Roots Plant-Based Cafe (a well-known spot), you’ll get there easily. I stayed in a 6-bed female dormitory, and the beds were quite comfortable, the room was properly ventilated with plenty of sunlight. There was a minor issue with the AC and tap, but the staff fixed it promptly. What stood out the most was the exceptional support... I had misplaced my key card and had an early morning flight, but one of the staff members went out of her way to help me collect my stuff and complete the checkout process smoothly. Truly a 10/10 for the assistance I received! The cafe downstairs is a great spot to work from, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Plus, My Khe Beach is within walking distance, making it easy to unwind whenever you want.

No curtains on the windows. Privacy curtains on the cabins cut off a/c air flow somehow… Lockers noisy while opening. Toilet and shower not separate but it wasn’t a problem (there are more possible toilets to use). No shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom.

Location: not far away from the beach, many shops and restaurants around. Beds were like little cabins, with big and comfortable mattresses. Big locker. Good WiFi, good working a/c. Free water and tea, use of a fridge and kitchen utensils.
