Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaIt’s a little bit far from the centre of town. Took us about 30-40 minutes to walk home from the Dragon Bridge show. I guess if you don’t like walking you can get a Grab to take you to town. It was also quite a bit more expensive than other hotels.
The room was beautiful. Very clean, with excellent furnishings and amenities. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was not a buffet which I liked because there would be less food waste and the drinks were served with metal straws, not plastic….great idea.

United StatesThe rooms tub by the window did not work. The tub could not be filled and was not usable.
This property was very unique the layout the design was well represented on the website, and in reality, it had its own unique design. The features in the room felt like a little retreat. Loved the shower room with the rainfall faucet head.

Czech RepublicThe big bathroom room has no glass in the window, all the noise from the street can be well heard in the room. Plus no isolation of the doors to the big bathroom, the door was impossible to close from outside
I really liked the style of the hotel and it's breakfast

VietnamThe noise from the reception area echoed up the stairwell. There was also a piano there which kids played and it was quite noisy late at night. The beach section near the hotel was closed off.
The room was unique, with very interesting design and modern smart controls. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe whole smart thing didn’t really work that well. The toilet was pretty unresponsive and so we didn’t use its smart features. The al a carte breakfast was pretty poor to be honest. I can see what they were trying to do making it fancy but the food wasn’t really good and it would be better just having a buffet. It did smell a bit moldy in the middle of the property. In terms of location it’s a bit away from where it’s happening in Da Nang but it’s workable.
A really nice and clean room with great aircon. Overall a great place to chill for a few days. The shower was fantastic and there was a cool bath as well. There is a great bit of the beach only a few minutes walk from the apartment which we enjoyed chilling at.

VietnamNothing. Any criticisms I could make would be unfair at this reasonable price point.
This is the third time I've stayed here in three years. Recent reviews said it was looking a bit worse for wear and room elements didn't work or are dilapidated. Strictly speaking this may be true (eg the electric toilet remote wasn't working in our room, not that I bothered to point it out to staff), but it negatively affected the experience by like 1% only, if at all. The important thing is that this hotel is pretty unique in Vietnam, it has a totally unique design and uses high-quality imported materials, has amazing bathtubs and very comfortable beds. I continue to see it as a gem. Also, they had spruced up the rooftop with solar-powered glowing flowers, which was an interesting touch.

IrelandExtra amenities in the room for the bath (at no additional cost) would have been nice. For what you’re paying it would be expected. Everything is at an additional cost (welcome drinks, bath bombs, etc.) The bar do not serve drinks after 8pm, if your looking for something late make sure your prepared. Also the breakfast could have had better options. My partner is vegetarian and they offered a replacement from one of the set meals, she ended up being served 5 eggs for breakfast.
Room was fantastic. It’s in a quiet area at the top of the beach which is great.

AustraliaThe SMART tech sometimes takes on a mind of it's own. You need top use your intuition and knowledge of tech. If the system thinks you've gone out it will turn everything off. Simply open the door and it will all come on.
This was a wonderful and delightful experience. The hotel is cleverly designed and in a great quiet location. The SMART technology is great....when you go in the room welcomes you by opening up all the curtains and turning on the lights. It's like coming home and having your loved ones welcoming you. I woke in the morning to watching the sun rising over the sea. Breakfast was very good! The hotel is at a more quiet end of the beach which is literally 3 minutes away. I recommend turning left on the beach where you will find local fishermen gathering nets and the daily fish market on the beach...turn right and you might be in tourist land if you're looking to party. The staff are very respectful and non-intrusive. For the price this is a more than excellent choice for staying in Da Nang.
