When we arrived the neighbors were burning a lot and it went into our room but the host fixed the situation so our stay with smoke free after the first day. Also the internet is super fast but not in our room, the brick wall blocks it a bit - I had to work so found myself propping the door open to take calls.

Beautiful location, right on the river with a nice pool. We enjoyed the animals on property and the quiet at night.

Noticed a lot of flies piling up in the bathroom but sure we were to blame for accidentally leaving the light on for an hour or so at night, easily sorted with some bug spray

Quiet location on the outskirts of Hoi An. 15 min walk to beach and 15/20 mins in a taxi to the old town. Good sized room. Access to communal kitchen. Nice gardens.

Home away from home! This place, its location, the owners and the room is 10/10. I love my room, overlooking the rice fields and I see the most beautiful birds just when I wake up! The staff are really good and very helpful. The owner invited us to a lovely dinner with many vegan options for me since I am a vegan, that was very thoughtful. Internet works really well, great hot shower, we can use the kitchen and best part for me of course are the three doggies Gau, Pi and Pink. Love them!

If you want a Homestay feel, cook you’re own food, and on a travellers budget, Laoxao Riverstone Villa is perfect. The staff treat everyone like family. Hidden away from the full on tourist area it was nice and quite.

There was really nothing I disliked.

This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to and was certainly the crowning point of my 12-day trip to Vietnam. It’s just in front of a quiet, silent river, but the main road leading to Hoi An Old Town on one side, and to the beaches on the other side, is less than 5 minutes walk away. There are also restaurants, coffee shops, and mini markets nearby. I stayed in 2 rooms, both on the ground floor, and they were large, clean and comfortable. Nguyen and his wife are lovely hosts and they did everything possible to respond to my questions and needs. I also visited the My Son sanctuary and the Cham Islands with their help. By the way, they told me that Lao Xao means something like “the sound of the wind blowing between the tree leaves”. What else could you wish for?

Trang is an amazing host! I've been staying in her other places as well, they are all beautiful, cozy, and feel like home. This villa is close to the beach (5 min on a motorbike, 7-10 min on a bicycle), and about the same distance to the market. It's located in a quiet place near the river, has a pool, a very spacious garden. The place is tastefully decorated and rooms look very nice too. It's great for both single travellers and families - there are always nice people around. Trang is very helpful and caring, so don't hesitate to book!

The location is best close to the old town and Cua dai beach, quiet and you can hear birds chirping in the morning that made it more extra. Being in front of the river that also gives so Vietnam vibe as a plus. The staffs were so nice and helpful too. I love my entire time here and the owner is super attentive with my needs. I can highly recommend.

We booked a room with balcony and private bathroom... disappointed to find we were given a room with a (dirty) shared bathroom which we had to go outside to use. We didnt feel at all comfortable there. We were reluctantly offered a different room but it had no balcony. Our main criteria was and we requested and paid for a private balcony. The shared balcony had only 1 chair to sit outside. The door to the shared balcony wasnt secure. On the plus side, the location was great, the AC worked well. The room also had dog ticks crawling around. For the money and facilities, we found it expensive, not as clean and less comfortable compared to other places we've stayed at in Hoi An. I hope the owners can take this constructive criticism into account and make the place better and cleaner as it has good potential. All in all - disappointed.
