Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe view was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. It was convenient having a coffee shop and executive lounge on the 15th floor. Breakfast was the best we've had in North Vietnam. The hotel was a less than 10 minute walk from the city centre.

I booked the premium room with mountain view, the view of the mountains is beautiful! The breakfast buffet spread is the best I had ever seen in all my hotel stay. From bakery breads, local cuisines, salads, cheese, fresh fruits and yogurts. Yummy with a great view! I was served by Kevin at the reception. He was exceptional, he personally uses his WhatsApp to share with me the tour info, and also recommended his local favourite restaurants, Red Dsao and Cu Ty, they were fantastic recommendations. He is too kind!! Room is big and clean, bed is very comfortable. Nice bathtub too!

Great location, walking distance to Sun plaza sapa station and moana sapa. Breakfast is great, the view from the room was really nice unblocked view of the mountains. Room service is also excellent. Helpful staff. Rooms are clean and I received a cake for my birthday, nice gesture from the hotel. Highly recommend this place

SingaporeThere was a night party held in a nearby hotel which the sound of people singing could be heard loudly in our room. It was a bit disturbing. Other than that everything is pretty good.
The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. It's very convenient to walk to the city center. Breakfast is good with lots of variety. We're satisfied with the customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff! I would like to give a shout out to Thao for being zealous and v helpful. She checks in to make sure all is well with our stay, follow up on our requests promptly and will give advice on our itinerary. She is the best! Another staff, Hana also checked us out on the last day and she has the brightest smile and a great warm energy. Other than that, our room had a great view, was clean and well-furnished :D We reached Sapa early morn and cld access showers to freshen up and drop off our luggages as well.

SingaporeHad a musky smell on the 1st day but otherwise it was perfect
Loved this hotel to the max. Everything is within walking distance, Sapa Station, shopping area, Sapa Lake and even Moana Cafe . Wonderful service from staff . I even tried their restaurant at level 1 the food was good. Their breakfast buffet is really good everyday the menu changes . I tried their spa and I must say the massage was too good for miss. Most of all the mountain view in my room was something I looked forward to every morning. The only downside is that one the 1st day when I entered the room, it had a musky smell otherwise everything else was perfect.

MaldivesWe loved everything about the hotel. From the moment we walked in (midnight check-in) till we checked out, the staff were incredibly hospitable. The room service, view, food and spa!! All the staff were incredibly catering to our last minute requests. Special shout out to Dua Linh & Kevin for assisting with our request to arrange a private car hire. They checked in on us and made it happen when we made the request around midnight. We absolutely loved the service.

United Arab EmiratesMy recent stay at the KK Sapa Hotel in Sapa, Vietnam, was a thoroughly pleasant experience, offering a comfortable base from which to explore the breathtaking landscapes of this region. The hotel boasts a good location, conveniently situated to provide easy access to Sapa's main attractions while still offering a sense of tranquility away from the busiest areas. Whether it was heading out for a trek or exploring the local market, I found the hotel's position to be very convenient. The facilities were fair, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. While not overly luxurious, everything was well-maintained and functioned as expected, contributing to a hassle-free visit. The rooms were clean and provided a relaxing space after a day of adventuring. However, what truly set KK Sapa Hotel apart was its excellent service. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and comfortable stay. Their attentiveness, helpfulness, and genuine warmth were truly commendable. Whether it was offering local recommendations, assisting with transportation, or simply greeting guests with a smile, the service consistently exceeded my expectations and significantly enhanced my overall experience. In conclusion, if you're looking for a hotel in Sapa that combines a good location, fair facilities, and truly exceptional service, the KK Sapa Hotel is an excellent choice. I would happily recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a welcoming and well-managed base for their Sapa adventures.

Saudi ArabiaI do wish the entire staff (not only some of them) were proficient in English, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the breakfast offerings do not quite cater to visitors from outside Asia. In fact, there were no English muffins, pancakes, or waffles included in the breakfast selection. Moreover, there is a noticeable lack of tourist guides or informational materials about local attractions. Visitors are left to do their own research, which can be quite challenging. We personally struggled due to the absence of brochures or directional signs in English, leading to a sense of confusion at some tourist sites. While it’s true that the locals are friendly and welcoming, communication often requires the use of a translation app. Tourist destinations should be properly equipped with all the essentials that travelers might need to navigate and enjoy their visit comfortably.
The hotel boasts a breathtaking view, especially in the early morning when clouds gently blanket the town, creating a dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of fairy-tale cities. The Vietnamese people, in general, are incredibly friendly and warmly welcome tourists, always eager to lend a helping hand. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Ms. Lucy at the front desk. She is truly dedicated to her work, striving to ensure guests' satisfaction and well-being. She went above and beyond to help us arrange a trip to Hanoi and remained in touch with us until we reached our destination. A truly wonderful person. Thank you, Lucy.

United Arab EmiratesI had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff truly made the difference - they were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accommodate every request with genuine warmth and professionalism. Special thanks to Du Duc Trong, the Front Office Supervisor, whose outstanding service really stood out during my stay. The dining experience exceeded my expectations. The food quality was superb, with delicious options that made each meal a highlight of my stay. Location-wise, this hotel is perfectly situated. Being able to walk to the city center was incredibly convenient and allowed me to explore the area easily without needing transportation. I was also impressed by the cleanliness throughout the property. Every area I encountered, from the lobby to my room to the dining areas, was spotlessly maintained.
